Oh yeah, and Frogboy, does "I think you can assume semi-transparencies in the Longhorn GUI the final one (which is good news because that is something that could be implemented into WindowBlinds if there's demand on Windows XP." mean possible 32-bit titlebars? Because I have tried to at least make 32-bit endcaps for the titlebar (to make the ends look antialiased) using 32-bit buttons but that didn't work.

Whenever there is a news post like this there always seems to be someone who doesn't understand theming in the style of the subject. I say if you don't understand then that style is not for you. But others enjoy it so I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to. Theming is all about making things the way you want them and some might like to theme their OS to look like other OS' or forthcoming OS'. While the Longhorn look isn't entirely my thing, or other looks I don't go around saying, "I don't

I myself have found NTFS much more fault tolerant than FAT32. For example I have a visual chat server and I have noticed how on FAT32 if there is say a power failure and my computer is improperly shut down the avatar storage file gets corrupted and I have to restore it from a backup. But with NTFS that doesn't happen so I don't have to go through that. I also like file permissions which I make good use of having my user account as power user and using cygwin to manage it. I h

This is nice but I would like if it would be a feature in IconX. Another good feature is a sublabel that shows file count for folders or image info for files. Oh yeah for the hard drives could you put a sublabel that hows free and total hard drive space like: 28.64GB, 20.14GB free [Message Edited]

Grim53, Unbeliever, I don't think Frogboy was out to kill Avedesk or Aqua-soft so I think you both need to take a chill pill, seriously. And Grim, you need to grow up. I don't think this needed to be brought over here. And BTW, I also am into theming and do the OSX interface layout most of the time. But that is what is so great about customisation software as good as what we have available. You can do just about anything you want so I say you should be free to do whatever you want with

Hello everyone: http://screenshots.haque.net/screenshots/view/19381/screenshot-19381.jpg My screenshot for this month. I'm running WB, Nexplorer WindowFX, Objectbar, DesktopX, IconX, and Objectdock Plus over a minimal bblean setup. The theme I'm using consists of: WB: DSX by smoke Objectbar: DSX by smoke Nexplorer: DSX by smoke WindowFX shadow: DSX by smoke Objecatdock plus bg's: DSX tabbed, and simple by smoke Icons: DSX by (Dace if I remember correctly) a

Now let me start off by saying that I have been a subscriber to ODNT for many years and purchased WB before that. I also have bought CursorXP and OD+ so I think that qualifies me as a customer. Anyway... "And it probably never will remove the bars from Mizlla and Lotus Notes as that feature will never be 100% because different apps implement their menus differently and very very few people use that particular feature." This doesn't instill confidence in me. I use this feature q

I really like all the stardock products I use and I'm excited to see what the new stuff you mentioned is. I bought ODNT and OD+ and CursorXP though I ended up not using cursorXP much. Anyway people will always moan about something no matter what is done so it's best to just ignore them a lot of the time.

I just wanted to add that I don't kiss anyone's butt. I just use software that a. I can afford and b. works best for me and if said software is a commercial app so be it as long as it has more and better features (in my opinion) than the freeware app if not, then I'll stick with the freeware app and vice versa.

I'm happy with OD+. I bought it so I can have tabbed drawer docks that are a distinct style from a regular dock. However the mag effect on the regular dock portion still isn't as smooth as I would like so I don't use that portion (I removed the right dock).

For the nth time the themes service doesn't have as many features and uses more memory than WB. WB = 2mb Themes Service (uxtheme) = 25mb For me it's not just a competition on which is free and which is not free, it's which has the most and best features. So I have a mix of freeware and commercial applications. Repeat after me: A program isn't better simply because it's free.

I really don't think a developer making a business of products should discontinue future products just because a couple of users. When I said I wis it could be added to Object Desktop it wasn't a demand or anything just like someone saying, "I wish for world peace". One can still dream right? That being said I'll be here tomorrow to get this and I have been a subscriber to ODNT for a long time so I'm a supporter.

For me it all comes down to who has the most and best features rather than which is bundled with the OS or which you have to buy. I just find it kind of ironic that a lot of people when IE got integrated into windows where up in arms about bundling software but now it's kinda like "oh you are so whiney deal with it".

For the record OSX is not Linux, it's NeXTSTEP made over which is based on Mach, with some BSD (it's called XNU). Apple bought the company NeXTSTEP which had Steve Jobs as CEO at the time and in te process got him back as well as aquiring that technology. BTW, I think Frogboy was a little too fast to dismiss the new feature in ichat how it displays the people in there when there is 3, as far as I know no other messager does that. And what's this I hear about a new keystroke in
