And now a way that suggests why it might be a benifit from an evolution point of view. Well, apart from the fact that evolution didn't happen, so god must have made all these different species as they are, in all their homosexual glory.

And anyway, even if we accept that there has to be a creator where is the evidence that it is YOUR creator? Why not the flying spaggetti monster? Why not Odin? Why not zeus? They all have routes by which a god created the universe.

Then what is higher than god? If there has to be something higher than anything then there has to be something higher than god. If you accept that the chain can end with god it could just as easily end with humans. Plants feel, plants communicate, plants live.

I for one am willing to admit that I could wrong in be denying the existance of your 'god'. I am also willing to admit that I could be wrong in denying the existance of the flying spaggetti monster, etc. I'm not willing to list the number of gods that I admit I could be wrong in denying the existance of. If you prove a) that any god exists b) that your god exists over the evidence for every other god I will agree with you.

So would you have an issue if Jordon invaded and started to annex Isreali land? Is it just might=right? Jordan had no right to annex the land in 1948. Isreali had to right to annex the land in 1967. Just because another contry did something wrong doesn't give Isreal the right to do the same. Isreal defeated its enemies in 1967 - views are conflicting on if is was aggression or defensive- that should have ended the war.

Sorry, the was a mis-phrasing of mine. I meant to say 'the isreali situation' there was no attempt meant to single out israel as the only player in the region with the power to de-stabilse the reason and I realise that the way I wrote it says differently. Sorry, let me rephrase it. I agree with the right of Isreal to exist and its people not to be killed. In that I am pro-Isreal. I do not agree with some of Isreals policies with regard to the placement of the new wall, the bulding of settlements on non-pre1967 land and such like. I do not agree with Hamas killing anybody (and Obama speech asked them to stop all violence), I do not agree with attacks on Isreal.
