I would disagree strongly with the statement that Liberals do not care about people. I think that both side want what is best for your country and the people in it - they just disagree about what is best and how to achieve it.

Reading the further links gives more information. Those with degrees were less likely to blame the jews than those without degrees http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/131238. They also found that the affect that mentioning Madoff is Jewish had on that persons support for tax breaks for business was marked - the 'stronger' the mention the less they supported the tax breaks and this also applied to a group of Jewish people - which I thought was odd.
From the same reference
the more educated and the younger the respondent, the less likely they were to believe that God created the first humans

Education was negatively related to belief in creationism

The majority of all persons sampled (52.7 %) disagreed with the theistic evolution world view, and 19.1 % of all people surveyed stated they believed that
Just becuase they want blood doesn't mean that they should have it. Targetting and killing people who had nothing to do with the attack is nothing but spitefull. The people who would die from the nuke would have had as much to be blamed for as the people who died in first attack.
I can see the point of regime change if Iran did this as it would prevent another attack and also let the rest of the worlds leadership know they will be removed from power if they do something. I'm not sure dropping a nuke would have the same affect if the people in power survived. It would also turn the vast majority of the world against the US as it is punishing the people of Iran not the government of Iran.
so a terroist group released Ebola in main land USA and the CIA thought that it probably came from Iran would you nuke the tens of thousands of innocent people to punish the leadership of iran?
I think there are a number of reason why he will not do it. 1) - There is no point A number of the people who not belive the certificate already realised, the director of Hawaii's Department of Health, the newspaper record etc will never belive any evidence that is produced. Look at the number of people who belive that 9/11 was an inside job by Bush, that the Holocaust didn't happen - no evidence in the world will convice them. The attacks will still continue
my god it is really handy that the bible is so clear and unambigous. Otherwise it would be dreadfull to the plan a world view on a 2000 year old book that enables everybody to get different divine messages from it.
ooo I don't know. Perhaps god could have made it rain beer? Or all their crops grow in days instead of months? Or any number of things that would be totally unexplainable by science but which left them better off? If I saw the field of wheat outside my house grow from seed to full plants in a week then I would belive and there would be more food instead of fields of dead people your ever so nice god made instead.
of course god could of course have got them to pray to him by being nice instead of killing them in their thousands and destroying the houses and life of hundreds of thousands.
Well seing as I hear this from the UK most respected radio news show. I'm not sure how the media are ignoring it when the BBC, which is often maligained as having a left wing bias, runs it before the issue is in the other media.
Oh - I do live it open that she is playing the system just that pictures of her being happy on occasion doesn't prove on their own that she doesn't have depression.
I would very much disagree that because she was seen as having fun that she was not depressed. I have personall experience of depression and I was very hit or miss - one day I would feel top of the world and the next pretty much unable to function. I didn't need to formally take time off work as the combination of the work I do and my boss meant that I just made up the time at different times but I know that if that level of flexability was not avaible to me than I would have end
Can you really say that a a lot of people parade in support of al-qaida? There was support and parades for hamas and bad ole hizzy (hizbuallah) during Israel Apartheid Week. That is when Hollywood had their little parade supporting hamas and other terrorist groups. Yes, people support al-qaida in this country because they feel that States is the big bullies and that al-qaida is being suppressed.
<
You did say a lot of left leaning people in hollywood. That kind of accusation against the left wing in the USA does need evidence to back it up - film clips of complety different people doesn't really help. my bad, right-wing Hollywood That made my day! All kidding aside. They very proud of their left tilt. Here's an interesting article for you from the Washington Post. I could list hun
Oh right wait, that is exactly what happend in Guantanamo bay - a loophole exploited to make a concentration camp legal. And hello surprise - alot of people held there were in fact innocent. The flip side of this statement is true as well. A lot of guilty individuals were captured. A lot of guilty ones were set free and actually returned to attacking the U.S. The enemy which has been discussed here: Al-Qaida, doe
Do you think that waterboarding and other stress techiques should be applied when the US domestic police pick people up for crimes? It has been argued that they are sub-human because they kill people therefore it is ok to waterboard them. My point is that the waterboarding happens before they are found to be guilty of it.
Fine - but who gets to decide if they did the crime that they are accused of? After a trial is one thing - before a very different. Just because they are picked up doesn't mean they are guilty - even if they walk like a duck. Note the large numbers of people released from the bay who don't face any charges at all and walk free in what ever country they now live in.
I'm also confused on this whole concept of occupied land. There were always jews in that said land. Are we giving it back to the original owners? ..... I get the feeling that this point of occupied land is mostly a point from North America. Would this be right to say that or is it a European/UK issue that is brought up?
It is a UK issue as well - I can not comment on mainland Europe but the conc
Other possible options 1) We are fighting the same people - so demonstrating against this war would be weird 2) It has not been going on for 40 years 3) The pakistians are not fighting people on occupied terrority 4) Isreali is a 'western' country and we normally hold them to greater account (not saying that we should - just that they are)
there is rather a large difference between marriage and children, they are not the same. Couples have children without marrying and marry without having children.
Once made legal, who is to stop people from passing laws to allow families to marry and to marry underage when religion was unable to stop gay marriages?
Politians? The people? The other laws? The slippery slope could be used to prevent any law every be
She addressed that point when she specifically spoke of a male and a female role model. KFC believes that males and females have different roles in life (and to an extent I believe that too) and hence need role models for both, ideally married non-changing such.
That would be an angrument for being against same sex couple having children, not marrying.
last I looked they weren't opening it up to relative so that really isn't the issue. You have also missed the point. Why does it matter to one married couple the what the contents of another married couples pants are? Do you only love your wife because there is not a gay married couple on the planet?
what difference does it make to a married couple that another couple, who happen to have matching genitials, also get married?
