I just stumbled upon this on ABC News.... Link It shows that Iraq is really improving and I think gives a realistic view of what is going on. Basically it isn't as bad as we've been hearing for the last year. Thats all I really have to say... Discuss

I've stated my positions on things here on several occasions. You wanna know why I dislike Kerry more and more? He's a jerk. Now I do disagree with the president on many things, but Kerry has been getting very close to pulling a "Dean". I also don't like that apparently someone voting for George Bush is now suddenly not credible. I guess Kerry doesn't want any of the voters from 2000 who voted for

So what we end with is.....You can't rely on one source of news. Thats why people who really want the truth will watch the news, but will also go other places like the internet. The more sources you have, the better chance you have of finding the truth. Not to say that this couldn't fail, it could, and has.

I would much rather vote for Bush, where I know where he stands on most things, then Kerry, who changes about half of his positions on things weekly and is only steady on his dislike of Bush. You know what, I don't love Bush. I disagree on him on many things. So I'm gonna copy democrats and say the reason I'm voting for Bush is because I would vote for anybody who can keep Kerry out of the White House. Fun stuff.

I will admit, Bush did make the joke about kerry flip flopping, and there was the thing about the "deeply irresponsible", I forgot them. I stand corrected.

I'd hate to be the only one posting in my thread but it seems to me Kerry is getting close to Howard Deaning himself. Dr. Dean liked to carelessly make comments just like Kerry did the other day.

I know that by august it will be negative on both sides. I was just wondering why Kerry was accusing Bush of being negative when SO FAR Bush has been nothing but the exact opposite. I know this happens on both sides but just as a recent observation I've noticed that democrats say Bush has done or said something when it is any Republican who might have said it, and at the same time they are getting angry because Republicans have implied something a Demo

First of all, he says the thing about Republicans all being crooks and whatnot. That didn't actually bug me that much, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Then I saw him again today and said something about all the negativity the Bush campaign has created towards him. I've only seen Bush ads that are pro Bush, I've never seen any anti Kerry. Bush called to congratulate Kerry after he became the presumed Democratic candidate. Republicans have said

I'm pretty sure in order to take the Federal matching funds there are limitations. I'm also pretty sure Bush didn't accept the funds because of the limitations. I'm not sure about Kerry.

I really want to know how it wouldn't have happened under any other administration or how he knew. So the leaders in Spain probably knew about those bombs today then right? Kennedy knew he was going to get assassinated. The aliens knew they were going to crash in Roswell. Columbus knew the world wasn't an octogan.

Actually if you are claiming Bush is the worst president ever, you should back that up with FACTS. I could understand why some people would call him a bad president (I don't share this view) but to call him the worst president would require you to show me how he did worse than some of our worst presidents. We also seem to forget how well Bush handled the situation directly after 9/11, I'm not talking about Iraq, I'm talking about the months and the

The big problems with universal healthcare is huge corruption and abuse of the system. There is also the problem of the wait. People in countries with a national healthcare system end up waiting for many weeks for procedures people in the US currently get much quicker. While it is very Christian to help your fellow man I don't believe this is necesarily the best way to do it. I believe in a much more middle of the road system for healthcare.

Going back to the initial post. After a few days ago saying Bush was once again late, Kerry said that Bush makes "bad rush decisions". So Bush rushes into the wrong things and waits for all the wrong things, and Kerry just flip flops on everything to appeal to as many groups as he can.

WiseFawn are you telling me that an organization that admits to being somewhat biased can't find useful information? Last I checked there is absolutely no source that isn't biased, whether they admit it or not, and therefore no statistics in the world are accurate. China wrote the initial report that you don't seem to have a problem with and I'm pretty sure they may be biased toward oh....communism. China The country that E. Macy got his pove

I'm glad you let the world think for you iul89. When you can't formulate thoughts on your own its good to rely on such a great place as the majority of this planet. I still find it funny that several countries in Europe are the "whole" world. Also iul89 I'm pretty sure this nation has been in far worse situations, we had those world wars, that depression thing, oh and that whole civil war. If you say Bush killed the economy, well then you don't seem

I don't think the majority of people think that those who have an opinion contrary to the current administrations are "unpatriotic". They think that those who seem to want to see our country fail in what its doing are "unpatriotic". I tend to agree with this. We all have different opinions, and that is fine, but just because we have different opinions shouldn't mean we wish something bad to happen to our country just so that it hurts the reputation of

Going back to the first poster. I want to get this straight. First the President acted too swiftly in Iraq, he didn't build a coalition that included France and Germany, and he also made the Iraqis moving any WMD's have to work faster to get rid of everything. Now according to Kerry “He's late, as usual. This president always makes decisions late after things have happened that could have been different had the president made a different decision earli

I just saw somewhere that most "poor" people in the U.S. own at least 2 color tv's. This could mean several things. I wonder how this might compare to the poverty levels of other countries.

Alright BulbousHead I'm gonna pick on you. First of all, everyone has been very hypocritical thus far. I'm not saying that I'm not going to be hypocritical in this post or that I won't accuse anyone of being a hypocrite, because I will do both. -It's good that we tried going to the UN, but it failed, it also gave the Iraqis several months to hide any WMD's they may have had. Bush obviously paid attention to all of those speeches in school abou

wow that isn't biased at all.......oh wait. I really don't mind biased articles if they label them as being biased. Using methods like this can allow you to make anybody look bad. This article tries to be very deceptive. If you look at figures that are similar(like tax money savings) in many cases they changed the years of comparison to make the figures look far worse. Is the figure about number of American casualties after Nazis surrendered ri
