I just wanted to give a thanks to you guys for allowing us all to partake in this amazing beta you have created. It's truly an amazing game and it's been a lot of fun to see the new things you've come up with and to watch the game develop. I know I can be opinionated and a big mouth at times but I do apreciate you guys and what you are creating and wish you humongous succes apon launch. Thank you.

Yeah those were a couple of funky games. On another note I had the funniest 1v1 ever tonight. I was playing against expansive player and he dropped three steal mills on empty tiles to start the game. In response I sold out of steel and bought up iron. He must have kept selling resources to keep his steel running and after a short time had $180 and game over. Lol
Good luck morgan
Can someone please answer my question? Did the fuel change between betas 9 and 10?
Well if you never played then why do you keep talking about it?
Is the fuel cost even higher on version ten then it was on 9?
Soren knows the map codes. How about for the sake of fairness the maps we use are selected and constant for all?
I'm not 100% just next time we're both online If that's cool with you? I'm sure it will be within a couple of days. Rubber match!
I hate the idea of doing a do over. A huge part of 1v1 matches is chosing to take on the right amount of debt. Founding at the right time. If you make a good decision why should you not be rewarded for it?
Exactly what magic said but I would bet your main issue is shipping all of those resources from so far. You need to pay attention to your fuel consumption. Found in a location you don't plan on claiming anything to far from that is unless say there is only two silicon tiles on the whole map and both are far that might be worth picking up for silicon value late game. A good was to avoid the debt early would be to claim this tile and throw down a solar panel and later as it becomes valuable
You know what thinking of it more it shouldn't be a patent it should be a bm. Buy it and drop it on the colony you want to monitor. After that when you click on their hq all of your stats to the left are replaced with theirs!
Exactly
I can see that as standard too. Either way would be cool. Might be a nice little bonus if it were a patent though.
Yeah I said it
I thought of a new patent that may be an interesting and good add to the game. After purchased you can pull up a screen that shows all of your opponents resources per second. Would make it much faster and easier to get the info you need to manipulate markets. Trojan Horse!
Do you have to ship resources from your base to the off world at the colony?
Also scientists is basically imune to nuke which is a very powerful bm
Why does everyone always look for a good science spot first though?
Just my opinion
You're right I'm not.
I think the most important thing to making this game as great as it can be is a proper balancing of the colonies. I think they are pretty balanced for the most part but I feel a scientist has a slight edge robot and expansive are about even and a scavenger is at a slight disadvantage. What does everyone else think? Are there any suggestions of bonuses that can be implemented or taken away to balance the colonies better? My personal opinion is that if you take away the scientists' ability
Another reason this favors the scientist is because they don't have to ship resources out to their claims only back to the colony and if you're planting say steel mills or glass furnaces away from you're base rather than mines you have to ship resources much less frequently and definitely spent much less fuel dollar for dollar shipping resources.
I did find the rules on Mohawk games' website. Soren have you considered a black market option to counter pirates considering that there are none and they take a certain number of resources' and there is no defending against them. They seem like a very overpowered bm especially if your opponent puts something valuable away from his ha.
