I just finished a game of 1.10A, but it isn't showing up on the metaverse. If I clicked on submit score more than once did that cause a problem?
Madine, I tried to submit a score twice last night (around midnight CST) and although it gave me normal feedback, the game did not show up in the metaverse. I tried resubmitting the game again this morning (was going to copy down some info to give to the stardock folks) and it worked. It could have been a glitch in the
Ray, I assumed yours was Gigantic, but I was pretty sure mine was "just" Huge. I wonder if I have a save game left over to look at.My Huge games showed up fine, kasualkid. Hey, what happened to your Huge or Gigantic game?
Ray, I didn't have a save game to look at, but Stardock must have gone in and fixed the submission. I assume they have the map size and saw that it was Gigantic. I don't remember it that way, but that is fine.
A buddy of mine said he heard a rumor that ND was going to join the Big Least in Football...have you heard any of that, surther?
There will always be rumors. ND will want to remain independent as is allows them to play a national schedule. The only way I see this happening is if the Big East is in jeopardy of losing its BCS bid AND the same for Notre Dame. THEN it will be a marriage of convenience.

I hate to see people say they are leaving or going to quit posting scores because of all of this stuff. Whether Stardock wants to admit it or not, Galciv is not just the game. When they released the game, a major part of it was the metaverse. Now I have no delusions of ever competing for the number one individual spot, but I LOVE the empire concept - that is what keeps me playing more than anything else. The way the maso bonuses are, if an empire has one or more good maso players, that empire
How can I score 10,000 for a small map on the second highest difficulty level and watch another player score 26,000 for the next level up? I have NO objection to maso being rewarded - it's the lack of a sliding scale of achievement that hurts. Average players are no longer rewarded for effort. Who knows what a newbie thinks about the situation looking at it for the first time?
I know some of this has been covered in the "Oh, I guess I have to play maso to score big" threa

In my experience, this has only happened when loading from a saved game. The influence of the AI's (and yourself) are set probably without taking into account any influence bonuses or SB's you have around. Once you click turn, though, it seems to get recalculated and goes back to where it was when the game was saved.

Max..., I find that my initial setups are the same also. Although what you ask, seems reasonable, I find that I can ctrl-N to find a decent to pretty good starting situation THEN do your steps 1-9. To me, it is all about starting position and anything that comes your way after that is manageable. kasualkid ctrl-N ctrl-N ctrl-N ctrl-N ctrl-N ctrl-N GO

I have tried to review all the messages for this particular issue, but have come up blank. I originally submitted my score after upgrading to Drengen.net - so it did not appear. I upgraded my metaverse registration to include my Drengen.net S/N and now the score shows in my detail, but the aggregate score is not updated. Any thoughts?

There may have been planetary defenses assisting the ships in orbit. Nonetheless, you must dispose of the orbiting ship(s) before you can assault the planet. Do this by assaulting the planet with regular military ships. Once the orbiting ships have been removed, you must use a transport or combat transport to assault the planet. A combat screen will appear that shows the attack and defend bonuses and how many troops are on each side. Hit the spacebar and see if the dice roll in your
