At the moment if you're looking to find a multiplayer game of OTC you're faced with this: How many players are online? How long am I going to be waiting for the lobby to fill? It feels pretty lonely in there. There's no way to know how many people are playing, how long until the next lobby will come up. Try switching off that horrible Windows Aero, and set the taskbar to not auto-hide.
This would be pretty useful. I guess balance isn't set in stone yet but maybe we could have a screen where it shows the formula for units per distance. Is it something in the region of 10 tile = 1 unit of fuel?
Just want to +2 this, on PC. Me and my friend both experience a sluggish UI. We've been playing around with settings to no avail. We can see there's a separate process for UI which seems to take up a massive amount of processing time. With other games built in the Unity engine, namely Rust and Starbound, there's been an issue where the text is being rendered using a ridiculously high number of polygons. Is it possible that this is affecting Offworld?
