I know when new versions come out it lowers what you had received previously but it seems now when I submit a game i get less. I had beat a game simular to a 60,000 score one i did in 1.0, had massive fleets, about the same technoloy, and the same type of victory but was only awarded a SMALL fraction of that. They change the scoring system?

They worked in beta. If you use certain hulls its bugged where you see them in the battle map outside of your ship in wierd positions. You would see them if you have played with different races and hull enough eventually.

Of course, two years down the road you'll probably be buying a new motherboard/processor combo anyway. Yes, thats my point. When i build a pc i always buy a new MB, and since the conversion to DDR2 supposidly doesn't do much as far as a performance increase is concerned, at least from what i've heard, then i dont need to buy it. Especially when I all

I want to use some ship mods in metaverse. Is this possible? For example say I want to use the babylon 5 ships, will i be able to submit my scores? Afterall it is only a graphical mod and doesn't affect the gameplay.

Is the difference from AM2 and 939 worth the wait? I heard that the difference of DDR2 on AMD is almost not different what so ever than standard DDR.

I remember a little while back their was supposed to be in one of the patchs something that would let you select more cpu time to the AI. I thought it was supposed to be in 1.2 but their is no option to select it?

I think the dredlords should appear in the regular game outside of the campaign. In the origional game they usually added a lot of flavor and difficulty to the game when they appeared, they had vastly superior weapons technlology and always added a late game challenge. I think they should be added to this for the same reason, and why not give htem unique technology that can be stole, for example, to add some of that kind of flavor to the game. Of course their being in should be an opt

And it doesn't matter what game difficulty you play on, from easy to suicidial, once you're over the initial "hump" you won the game. Its like that on all turn based strategy games. Also dont use the term 4x, its a term made up by the marketing director of Atari to sell MOO3.

One of the altarian designs I was using has that engine "flare" that never works coming from like a whole ships height above the entire ship. So in the battlemap all these ships i build has things that look like some kind of ghost hovering above the ship. It seems that these "flares" are broken. I usually just turn them off but why even give an option to turn them off when they dont work in the first place? Why not just remove it? I noticed this happens on a few other desi

Well a hull mod doesn't help, first because of metaverse and second because it just adds more jewelry which is not what i'm talking about. I'm talking about actually a variety of functional componeants to keep it interesting. That way you can build many types of ships, not many appearances for ships. That is what i mean. Like in MOO2 their were all kinds of componeants like that to keep it interesting. You can keep doing jewelry but eventually you settle on what you want and ships and

In another topic I started on how to build ships someone said that ship design gets boring as your always designing the same ships. Sure jewelry adds fun to the game but most people are not going to spend hours designing a new ship whenever they get new technology and end up liking the design they did origionally just adding upgrades. To me upgrading from proton torpedos I to anti matter or whatever else when you upgrade gets boring. Their should be more in the game as far as that goes. <br

Some peopels ideas of having "stabase ships" is something that I should use. I like that idea and never really felt like doing it. Though one thing, i always use my older designs as small as medium, usually only though if they were ranked up from use. I find ranked up ships of even small sizes to be useful. I usually do not put on much, if any at all, of defences as it seems the AI ALWAYS attacks the larger ships first. Usually my medium ships will have the same amount of attack as my

He makes a good point. If they asked "would you pay for a multiplayer expansion" it would of gotten more votes then if they put a actual price. If they would of put $10 for it they would of gotten even more. Or if they put that other things would be included with multiplayer it would of been more. If they said would you pay for an expansion that includes multiplayer they would of gotten PLENTY of votes. The thing is they dont want to do it so they word it in a wa

I'm wondering what people put on their ship designs. I'll describe my strategy first. Usually I build, always, the largest hull available. I only use the smaller hulls if it was a previous design and I wanted to upgrade my fleets with new technology. I build one design for each hull size and upgrade it as I need to. Usually on my ships i find myself putting Missiles, always, missiles do the msot damage and even if the AI uses ECM it isn't much of a deal. I always put at le

Unless i know for sure what it does its completely useless and I never use it. I'm sure most others feel the same.
