DUH! Thank you Cataclysm. That apparently was the problem. [e digicons][/e]

Hi, I purchased and installed Entrenchment. Apologies if this has already been adressed. I looked over the forum and didn't see this particular problem. I can't place structures where I want them. Clicking on a structure to build, turret for instance, seems to place structure at the nearest constructor ship. No little circle etc. to allow me to place structure where I want it. Obviously this is a real game killer. Has anyone
Kudos to Frogboy, David, Carielf and the rest of the Stardock Team for all the hard work, patience, and efforts you put into your games. Thanks again [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:D[/e] [e digicons][/e]
Yarlen, I feel I should step forward and mention that Alleycatx is not the only one to encounter this problem. I've had Sins since the day it was released. I'm a long time Stardock consumer ever since GalCiv1 and have purchased numerous games and even played several beta versions of the 1.1 patch. Ever since Impulse I've encountered numerous problems and I'm more than happy to say that in every single instance Support has helped me out. I'
This only works some of the time. I own Sins, have downloaded the beta patches, but with the 1.1 patch Impulse no longer recognizes my serial number. I've got the number right, it's in the game's case, I've checked it with Support and tried on two different computers. I will say that Stardock Support has been good to me and helped me fix numerous problems. But seriously, I'm getting tired of numerous problems. I think Impulse is the biggest mistake Stardock ever m
Hi, I had the same problem. Installing updated via Impulse broke the game and both addons. However, I uninstalled and then reinstalled with Impulse. It downloaded the most recent versions and no updates were needed. All three games seem to work perfectly now. AND it fixed the String Not Found error I was having with TOA. Hope this helps somebody. please fix the STRING NOT FOUND error [e digicons][/e]
I downloaded and installed 1.99 without problem. The program even offered to install the usual shortcut. But when I try to play it shows I'm still running 1.96. Any idea what the problem is? thanks
thanks, Yarlen. I'll give it a try. [e digicons][/e]
Once agian, another problem with Impusle. sigh.... I had already purchased the retail version of Space Rangers 2 when Impulse was born. Yet, wonderfully, I was able to purchase Reboot and it worked fine with the other game. Now, however, I discover an update to Reboot. But I can't update because it wants me to register the original game Space Rangers 2. I don't seem to be able to do this since I didn't purchase from Stardock. Anyone have any
Hope they fix the STRING NOT FOUND error in TOA [e digicons]XD[/e]
Please fix the String Not Found error. thanks
Hi, Any chance that the String Not Found problem will be fixed in the next patch? I didn't find this much of a problem since I could run the program as admininstrator and play anyway. But then my computer hiccupped. Now I don't seem to be able to run ANYTHING in administrator. Trying to do so crashes Explorer. That's not Stardock's fault, of course, but I'd still like to play TOA while I'm scratching my head over the administra
I don't play online so I could give it a 9. I like the changes I'm seeing with the new beta.
I really appreciate Mail Washer Pro. It allows you to read or delete your email without downloading it from the server. A virus can't get to you if you don't download it. You can even answer emails without downloading them. There's a free version too!
Hi, Thank you all for your quick response. Revo failed to remove Mycolors. I ran it and it couldn't complete the uninstall. After half an hour I gave up. This is just one of many problems I've had with Impulse. I've been a loyal Stardock customer since Galciv 1. But, I gotta say, I don't know if I'll ever buy another product from them again. However, thanks again for trying to help.
Hi, It's a very nice program, but I don't think I want to keep it. Downloaded it through Impulse. But Impulse simply stops when I try to uninstall. Won't come off through the control panel either. Any advice appreciated. thanks
Thank you Cheesenium. I very much appreciate you letting me know. Guess I'll go play. Thanks again.
Hi, Is there a patch beyond 1.o9 beta? If so, I don't seem to be able to see it. I've been in contact with Stardock support and recieved some timely help but Impulse still continues to give me fits. So is 1.09 it or is there a 1.1? Thanks
Hi Seabass, I did indeed recieve a timely response. However Impulse still refused to recognise the serial number although I followed the email's instructions. I still can't download the update. Hope you have some other ideas. And I do hope Stardock returns to the policy of making updates available in several forms--at least until the bugs are worked out of Impulse. Again, thanks for the quick reply and your time and efforts.
Hi Seabass, I've done as you suggested and thank you for your quick response and help.
I really want to support Stardock and Ironclad. But I have to say Impulse has been the biggest headache. I spent over an hour downloading the new beta version of SINs only to have Impulse tell me it doesn't recognize the serial number. Well, it came straight off the box and has been good enough to download and install previous Sins patches. It said the same thing about the version of Shadowgrounds Survivor I purchased from Stardock. It was nothing but a headache when I bought the Space Ranger
American Citizens, like, essentially all human beings should be considered innocent, until proven guilty. The same could reasonably said of a forum topic, or any other public discussion in a country where Freedom of Expression is considered a fundamental right. George Bush has worked very hard to reverse that sort of human right. And, regrettably, we have forum moderators who believe the same thing. Why have an off-topic section at all if the moderators are such cowards, or so biased, that
What's wrong with such a discussion? The American people deserve to understand how much they've lost. Our country is in the worst shape it's been in since the last world war. We deserve a country whose name isn't synonymous with torture. We deserve a country where Truth and Justice mean something. We deserve a country where The American Way doesn't mean blind obeisance to corporate capitalism and Democracy is a matter of The Vote, not The Almighty Dollar. Instead, we have a country, and
George Bush is a war criminal. He lied to the American People about Iraq. He's circumvented the Bill of Rights by allowing and encouraging illegal wiretaps on American Citizens. He's promoted the use of torture and denied legal rights to many prisoners (who have never been charged of any crime). He should be impeached, tried, and sentenced to death for the murder of thousands of Iraqi civilians. In short, he's the very embodiment of everything this country was never meant to stand for.
