Thanks for all of the tips, those have helped tremendously. Another thing that helped me was lowering the difficulty. I didn't know there were 2 more ticks below Easy. Beginner and Novice!

Thanks for the tips guys, I did not realize the XP sharing with the sovereigns! I let this game sit for 2yrs before playing it :) Now I can't wait to pre-order Heroes. I'm going to pop back in and give it a go.
Ok, I've been having this game awhile and just started really trying to learn it this past weekend. So, what I've been doing is rushing to find as many heroes/champions as I can find and settle cities/outposts quickly. Now the problem is the way I handle my units. Usually I roll around with a single stack of maybe 3 heroes and as many trained units as the stack can hold. Now, am I supposed to have one hero in a group with trained units? The problem with that is that I
Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. So Diplomacy gives me all of the content in one nice package.
I've recently purchased Entrenchment and Diplomacy. From Impulse, do I just start Sins and have access to the content? Or do I have to select Entrenchment or Diplomacy to experience that content? Thanks, Rod
I would like a code if anyone can spare. PM me please. vr, Rod
I would like to try Demigod, if one of you guys don't plan on using the 50% coupon on a friend. Please PM me. vr, Rod

I cannot get Galciv II to load on Vista. All I get is a black box when I click on the executable. I'm using a Panasonic Toughbook CF-50, 1gb RAM, ATI Express 64mb vidcard. I guess I could always install the original GalCiv and try that.
I guess this hasn't been solved yet... Is anyone from Strardock looking into this issue? It would be nice to have this niggling little problem fixed. vr, Roderick
