1. Yes, but I think it's random. 2. 50% chance of a cargo that passes though the pirates area of effect being raided and having its whole cargo stolen (which I think it's 20 units for everyone? Not sure). 3. Pirates will stay there until they steal 200 units of cargo, then they are gone.
Netcode aside, the game has no dedicated servers atm, the server is the host. So if you play with a host in another continent (which you have no way to know because at the moment there is no ping function in the lobbies), you will have significant lag.
Just a small bug report, I don't know how common this is: Whenever an event message appear (like, say, "Player X was targeted by a Mutiny!"), if I click on the end of the sentence (the word Mutiny, for example), nothing happens and the clicks are registered as if I was clicking the map below the event area. You're looking at this on a Mac or on a Linux machine, then the steam website automatically filters the Top Sellers to the games available on your platform. Right now on the global rankings OTC is at 20 or so, but during launch week it broke the top 10 though.

Hello, After today's patch, my game is unplayable, I have a very low fps in the main menu, and the game crashes after clicking one or two buttons (ie, trying to go to options and changing the settings).
