Hurley, I'm not showing one for the 18th, but there was one on the 17th that had the wrong serial number. I fixed that one. So Stardock Central no longer has the Gal Civ serial number filled out? It had to have gotten that serial from somewhere, and Gal Civ only checks the registry. You could try re-installing Stardock Central. That would re-install the dlls that Gal Civ uses to submit the score, so if there's a problem, that might clear it up.
Thanks Cari, the dates

G'day Cari, sorry to bug, any other ideas for my submission problem? Should I zip & send?

Hmm, lots of interesting discussion as always. However, the other comment I would make is that any games victory conditions, allowable strategies, etc is a direct reflection of the key designer(s)/developer(s) own personal political & cultural preferences, whether expressed consciously or not. Galciv isn't alone here by any stretch of the imagination!! Even the choice of particular scoring systems and features in games such as Baldur's Gate reflect such tendencies, even at tim
G'day Cari, just in case, reedited registry keys, and submitted another. Doesn't seem to have shown up.
Hurley, I've got a couple of your scores in the database showing up with your Gal Civ serial number instead of the drengin.net one. You may want to go to the metaverse page and follow the instructions for converting your scores, then remove the old serial number from your registry. (Note: it is ALWAYS a good idea to backup your registry before making ANY changes.)
G'day Cari, I just checked. My registry key, stardock central info, and the galciv site all show my d

Just doing some reserach! [Hurls Mode ON] The name is doubtless American. A manuscript description of Barbadoes, written twenty-five years after the English settlement of the island in 1651, is thus quoted in The Academy: "The chief fudling they make in the island is Rumbullion, alias Kill-Divil, and this is made of sugar canes distilled, a hot, hellish, and terrible liquor." This is the earliest-known allusion to the liquor rum; the word is held by some antiquaries in w
