can we have a list of the past x number of threads we posted to? i don't want to watch list every thread i post to. if i leave on a trip and come back a few days later the thread is gone forever unless i remember specifically what title/category it was or i have to go "recent articles" diving.

there's that word for a woman...ends in U-N-T... that word is of course... "aunt".
wait, a -politician- smiled at someone likely to vote and work for him and ASKED THAT PERSON'S NAME? how inappropriate! ;)
AIM = AOL Instant Messenger google is pretty upfront about what it installs and does to your computer and most likely has nothing to do with viewpoint. if you want to send a letter to complain, try your congressman. even if what they did was illegal (and i doubt it given how many stupid spyware programs are out there) the damn spyware companies can always claim it was in some contract you clicked "ok" for some program you never insta

there some dispute over whether lincoln said that: it is listed as a fake quote in some book ( mentioned here )
integration of the military under truman is conspicuously absent.
Before the war, Iraqi artist Kalat was forced to make many of the busts of Saddam in Baghdad. Two brass statues of Saddam on horseback were taken down, cut up, and sent to Kalet. He then spent months reshaping them into a memorial: a small Iraqi girl reaching out to comfort a soldier as he mourns a fallen comrade. If the image is
snopes.com soda water will do some of the same cleaning things listed and the other items are described as "specious" by snopes. for example there is more citric acid in orange juice than in coke. at the end of the article: "The next time you're stopped by a highway patrolman, try asking him if he's ever scrubbed blood stains off a highway with Coca-Cola (or anything else). If you're
any president will be hard pressed to beat harding or grant for the title worst president. the email auhor could have made a good point if he didn't tack on so many dumbass examples: "Germany never attacked us": all they did was issue a declaration of war against us after pearl harbor. and that whole reuben james deal was way overblown. <img src="../images/smiles/angry.g
brad wardell: It doesn't help Kerry. But I fully agree, many Democrats do not consider honoring commitments to be a big deal. unlike loyal-to-their-wife republicans like newt gingrich, henry hyde, mayor giuliani, etc. number of rep. divorces: at least one each. (not hyde: he only caused another couple's divorce). number of clinton divorces: 0 not to mention those evil presidents like jefferson, fdr, kennedy, grover 'ma, ma, where's my pa? gone to the whit
When I learned that Google Ads saw fit to place an ad for the RNC on some articles of my blog some of the time, I was displeased. But, actually, what better way to teach and inform about the "Compassionate Conservatism agenda", as the ad proudly proclaims? First, let's try and see an example of this compassion. How about in the race against Max Cleland ? He's the o

i like the last idea best. if i want to tell someone that 2+2 does not equal 5, i don't want to give them points from my commenting.
yeah, but on star trek they came up with a great solution: holodeck doors are never locked and display what's being run to anyone waiting outside. so anyone can see what you're doing and walk inside while you're occupied. and in order to make a realistic sim of outer space exploration, someone has to go out there and explore it and send pics back to the holodeck programmers. hell, the old series had a bunch of episodes on the garden of eden syndrome. kirk blew up the god machine that wa
"You should also have a scandal system for the game: Complete non sequitor events that become huge issues, or occasionally boons ... the political equivalent of a Chance card." neat idea! "your wife/husband has been caught kicking a small puppy. -50% environmental lobby cash." will the demographics be modifiable also? so say, a 1800 or 1944 election can be done?
cool, thanks for the news. i was hoping this would be renewed. ron moore did some good stuff on ds9.
i probably won't use it, but the test option sounds hilarious. can you include a stat to see how many failed? what was the color of george washington's white horse? who fired first at pearl harbor on dec 7, 1941? who is the star of "garfield and friends"? name the b-29 that dropped the second atomic bomb...
remember any ribald jokes you liked when you saw it in japan? they might have edited out lots of inappropriate(ie. funny) parts.
neat! thanks.
my article with link to electoral map maker. normally i'd give a direct link but i've decided to become a points whore and try and haul myself out of the 30s rank. hey brad can you copy this thing and add it to the political machine? that would save a lot of paper when trying to figure out "must win" states. i don't think PA will turn either. it's been fairly solid as a blue state. if the map stays the same as brad has
you probably already noticed but just in case you didn't: everyone who didn't select the real name displayed option has their nickname listed as "oops".
Interactive Electoral Votes Map from some John Edwards site. Just saw a link to this neat map on another forum. Just click on a state to get it to be "blue" or "red". Automatically counts up the votes to see who will win (270 needed). Not sure if every state's electoral vote is accurate but still fun to play with.
