Oh, wow, really? That's a huge bummer and frankly I don't think it is that justified. I remember the week extension, but I thought it was in preparation for the Early Access, not that I was just going to lose them :( :(

I didn't use mine because none of my friends wanted to commit to a game they coulodn't even see screenshots of, but I absolutely plan to do so as soon as the game releases on Early Access. Will my five Founders' 20$ coupons still be valid after February 12th? I would be shocked to hear they aren't, but it's worth asking before I go out on a limb gifting it to people and find out they can't use it.
Awesome! I wanted to do the same when I noticed the names were already taken. Which one is yours? Link?
They don't even know themselves :) They said "Next Spring", but I think they haven't finalized a date yet, which is good because it means it'll go there when they'll feel it's ready for it and not when the calendar pushed them to do it. But maybe they should be the ones to answer this.
I agree. The amount of zoom-out you can achieve now is fine but sometimes you just would love to have more. Specifically, the whole map yeah. To get "the big picture". Are there side effects to this, if enabled? Thanks.
Ah, thanks. I actually have to quickly give my free copy to my son as I was afraid of losing it somehow.
Good question, I need to know this too :)
This is awesome, so if I'm understanding this correctly one game it may be high on Iron and Aluminum, the next game high on water?
Yes! That's the best part about this game! Like in M.U.L.E., no two games will ever be the same! About the lenght of the game, allow me to disagree with you when you say that short games tend to burn out people quick. Maybe that's
Sounds interesting, however, not sure what I think about all players being able to see revealed parts of the map that other players have uncovered. To me this would be counter productive being that if I'm a company doing mapping or looking for areas of land to purchase, why would I share that information with competing companies?
It sounds strange because there are no other games that I can think of with this me
I can try: When the game begins, you see the map (randomly generated every time) which is mostly darkened out (fog of war). You can click anywhere on it to reveal an exhagonal section of it. On the map some coloured dots will show the presence (and the amount) of specific materials that can be "mined" when a factory/facility is placed on them. This happens in real time with all players doing the same. The goal is to pick a spot to place your colony. Placing the colony is VERY impor
Thank you everyone for your feedback on my feedback :) I understand I am in the minority on some of the issues I've raised. That's fine. One thing I want to state again and again is that I already love OTC the way it is. But of course, having my M.U.L.E. dreams awakened by Soren's interviews made me go that way with all the expectations. I am sorry if I made it sound like a Starcraft fan couldn't appreciate this game. That's clearly not what I meant.
Hello everyone, and thanks Soren Johnson for bringing back vibes from my faovurite game of all time: M.U.L.E. - You have made me a happier man! That's right, I consider Danielle Bunten's game my best ever, so you can imagine why I instantly purchased a founder pakcage and why I am here. I have the crazies stories about M.U.L.E., how I acquired my first copy on tape, or how I called Electronic Arts by phone from Italy in 1994 begging for a new copy when my old one failed to
I hate to tell you this, but there's one more line you should edit :)
