OK Scott! If I can help testing just let me know. Thanks.

Yes, Mac. Mavericks. If there's any other thing I can do to help let me know. It's a little bit cumbersome to have to quit the game every time I finish a campaign mission. ;) Thanks.
With this campaign save file, after you play one mission, you should see the problem. http://drop.kalio.net/drop/1429509631-CampaignSave.bin
I spoke too soon. I kept playing, lost the first campaign and started another. After finishing the first mission of the second campaign it crashed again. I can rotate the planet and the music stops playing after a while (when the loop ends maybe). Let me know if you want me to try something when it happens. Thanks for the campaign rules link :) Regarding the bug, I deleted all the save game data and I can't reproduce it anymore.
I'm not saying it should factor into your decision. I see this as a metric of your performance in a transaction, that has more granularity than the total amount of cash you have. Like a mini graph of the value of a resource.
Critical bug: after finishing a game in the campaign mode, when it goes back to the menu I can only see the planet, but the rest of the menus are gone and I have to close the game by force. I'm playing on a Mac with Mavericks. I can't buy stock when playing the campaign mode, so I can't win the game. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong or if it's a bug. I'm not the only one: http://steamcommunity.com/app/271240/dis
I find myself losing many times because the colony is abandoned. The way the status of the colony is indicated (O2, food, water prices) is really small compared to how important it is. I would love to have a blinking indicator or something constantly visible when things are going bad. BTW: My 4yr old girl ask why the ships keep coming and going in the ending screen when everyone left the colony already ;)
I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I continually miss the valid cells when scanning. I go into the stripes zone constantly and I get the error sound and I go back to the valid region. It's annoying. I would snap the scan region to the nearest valid cell so this does not happen and it will work all the time.
When trying to optimize buy/sell to get an edge in the early stages of a match, I found myself many times writing down the price I bought a resource so I could remember it and estimate how much I would make if I sold it at the current market price. It would be interesting to show the price of your last transaction for that resource and the difference to the current price, so you can quickly estimate how much money you're making or losing if you go ahead with the transaction.
I have the same problem, on a Mac.
First of all let me say that I like the game a lot and I care about it. Kudos to Soren and all the team! I understand that having little animated models in a 3D map is cool and help with sales, but I have my doubts about being the best UI for this particular game. The concerns I have are: You can't see all the terrain on the screen at once. This makes it difficult to have a general view of what's happening. You have to compile inform
