That is an interesting idea, and would make the game feel different if it was implemented. Part of the design of the game seems to be the skill that it takes to constantly juggle everything and buy low sell high, so I am not sure if it would be added though.

Every Skirmish I had won was because of the Off-Worlds. The hacking gets more expensive over time and takes a long time to work a resource. If I have a ton of a resources it also drives the price down to quickly when I sell so I only can sell 300 units before it is really starts getting to low of a return to be worth while. Has anyone found purchasing your own stock to be effective? I played a bit trying to see if I could bid my stock up the point that no one could afford to buy it but it seemed to help my enemies more than myself. When you buyback stock it takes away from the finite amount of purchases that are able to be done in a game thereby enabling other players to arrive at the "purchase entire company" point in a faster time frame. Buying my own stock just meant that the players were able to buy

I have started out playing mostly the Expansive and Robotic colonies and most of my wins are from the Robotic choice because it is great not having to rely on making all the life support materials. I failed miserably when I tried the Scientific colony... Does anyone have preferences on what colonies are best to start with?
