I've got a base model late 2012 27" iMac (2.9 GHz i5, GeForce 660M) and I haven't really noticed any performance lag. I have noticed that when I leave it running in the background, it makes everything else chug. Really hoping to be able to save my game soon.

A Mac compatible version recently showed up in my Steam library - I just wanted to thank the developers for putting the resources into developing it. I was really bummed out.
Both the DirectX 9 and 11 versions throw the same error - It's a Windows 8.1 (32-bit) VirtualBox with 3D acceleration turned on, 2 CPU's, 2GB of memory, and 256MB of video memory. I tried a Windows 7 VirtualBox first but the game completely failed to even open a window, logs say it was DirectX 9 failing to initialize.
