The mod being a straight replacement is the part that actually matters here. Swapping one set of tracks out for the other gets you back to Rebellion and gives up everything written since, which is not what was being asked for. Where I would push back is on the assumption that both sets want to sit in the same rotation. Rebellion's score carried a lot of the pacing on its own, because you spent long stretches doing very little and the music was what told you where you were in the game.

Hull goes down, offence goes up, and enemy ships can catch it. That runs against the habit every Sins player has, which is to pull a mauled fleet out and put it back together before sending it anywhere else.
