Hello ppl, Modding GalCivGlobalDefs. xml doesnt work anymore. How can i change the availiable amount of custom race trait and ability points now? Thanks

Hello everyone. I actually ignored Alpha stage because the game was so undeveloped, but in current state of beta that seems to be a way better game than GalCiv2 was. Disclaimer: I clearly realize that not all things are easy/possible for the developers, and that some things have clearly been already stated and discussed; I just try to summarize what I found. I guess I will make a small list of advantages and disadvantages in general before everything else. So,

Do you realize that flak are a) expensive b) long to construct? flak does reasonably high total dps, but its very low vs. each unit. shield regeneration, repair cloud and similar stuff makes flak strategy much less effective. 2. Why on earth would you need flak burst if you are spamming flak? 3. With flak, you will be quickly outspameed early unless you are very far from the enemy. Vasari cant be countered - sb eats flak alive and flak

LMAO, kol has tank health but low firepower without GRG. Drain am and eat with corvs

No, it definitely doesn't. TR are already powerful enough with their eco. Titan isn't bad, especially later game. P,S, I tell you that as one of the best TR players ever! :D
Lol, the marza isnt the best TEC cap. it is the best cap in the game. (yeah, i am a tec player mostly) As for Kol. It sucks until level 6 very hard. It has low frontal damage, so it is useless vs. vas. Vs. tec and advent it can be just ignored for a time too long, and in very late game it dies like any other cap.
