[/quote] The offworld market usually never seems worth it to me. Unless there is just tons of resources and everything is low priced the return just doesn't make it worth it. Patents and engineering are very map dependent but it seems the hacker array can be too abused.
I just wanted to post about the hacker array. Getting one early and just repeatedly shorting something and building more and more factories for it will just give and insane advantage in late-mid and late game. It is super powerful if it is not being actively countered by someone with a hacker array or people aren't emp'ing all your factories all day. It's not too hard to get the price of something over 1000 which with factories for it will just end the game
