We have a new build for you to try - download it here. This is an out-of-band release build, while we did quickly test it for bugs/breaks, this is hot out of the oven so we would not recommend installing it on any mission critical endpoints but we think it's going to solve this bug.

We have a new build for you to try - download it here. You only need to install this on your primary device for the fix to apply - this is an out-of-band release build, while we did quickly test it for bugs/breaks, this is hot out of the oven so we would not recommend installing it on any mission critical endpoints.
Oh dang, thank you for sharing this with the community and Stardock. His creations have always been top-tier and I have installed more skins of his creation than I will ever fully remember; maybe next week I can do a writeup about his best of the best, truly one of the greats of the Wincustomize community.

When it comes to backgrounds, many of us have growing collections and while I have played around with some abstract AI creations – there is nothing quite like the real thing. One of my favorite ways to pass time is to visit national parks and late last month, I was able to check a few more off the bucket list. If you look at the uploads I have added to WinCustom
For the better part of a year, we have been working behind the scenes to make our products easier to deploy. While it has always been possible to rollout products like Start11 and Fences to a fleet of endpoints, it’s now even easier to do so with improved management capabilities. Beginning with Start11 v2 , we included abilities to manage all of your endpoint Start menus with a single deployment file that has an ea
Personalizing your desktop is something that has been core to the PC experience since the first Start menu was introduced with Windows 95. While I’m sure there are a few who are reading this will argue that Windows 3.1 was that beginning, for many, Windows 95 was the real jumping-off point and the scene fully arrived by the time Windows XP landed on desktops. To help Windows enthusiasts get the most out of their devices, we created <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt
The pace of AI is moving at the speed of light and it’s a bit hard to keep up even for those who are highly enthusiastic about the advances that we are seeing on a weekly daily basis. I have been using a lot of the tools like Cursor, Midjourney, Claude, Codex and the list goes on and on, but sometimes, AI starts to show what happens when you are not paying close attention. Generating wallpapers with a single prompt has been a p
This week, we have released an update to Multiplicity 4 that improves performance and functionality. You can download the update now by opening up the configuration panel and searching for the update. New in this release are performance improvements for peripherals with high polling rates. Scenarios where the primary device uses a high polling rate mouse and the secondary device operates at a slower rate will now better res
Is there something that is blocking the connection on your firewall?
If you search Fences in your start menu, it shows that it is installed? If you click the icon, is it opening at all or is nothing happening?
Following the install, did you reboot?
Will you please re-try and let us know if you are still having issues?
It seems like it comes in waves and recently, Vista has been shown the limelight thanks to a certain developer conference in early June. Liquid Glass is Apple’s new direction for design elements but Windows fans, this is yesterday’s conversation. We all know about Aero glass and the many ways you can bring it to Windows 11. If you haven’t taken a look at WindowBlinds 11 and
In the past week, you may have noticed that Windows Vista is now the hottest old OS and the nostalgia for the designs of yesterday are once again at the forefront of computing. While you can absolutely thank Apple and its, absolutely not Aero-inspired Liquid Glass design, recent unveiling of its new design language at WWDC for the sudden increase in Vista searches on Google, Windows fans are not being left out. While Apple calls it Liquid Glass, the Windows community calls it Aero and
For the past few weeks, I have been writing about the various tribulations of icons on the desktop . Sure, they are functional, but they also hide wallpaper which for many, like me, isn’t a good thing. And then there is the “issue”, if you want to call it that, where the icons simply do not match the style of the desktop. Yes, you could go through and apply new icons to each file type to make it blend in a bit
When you were creating the pinned item for your taskbar, did you click pin folder menu? It sounds like that's what you want but may have clicked the option that opens the folder
As a staple of the desktop, icons are a fundamental part of the Windows experience. These little pictures of folders, apps, files, and more, are what make the desktop a place of productivity and the come in all different styles and colors. But the irony of this is that many people, such as myself, actively avoid putting icons on the desktop as it can cover up the images that I spent hours cultivating. I have a rotating set of images from recent travel or pictures of the dog that I lik
Kaspersky should no longer be flagging Fences 6 beta 2.
Last week, we released the second beta of Fences 6 as we continue to refine the new features and experiences ahead of the general release later this month. And one of the new features in Fences 6 is the ability to tint icons on your desktop and inside your Fences groups. What is icon tint? Simply put, it’s changing the color of the icon on your desktop but with the feature in Fences, you
We have submitted the required information to Kaspersky to remove the flag - it's related to our new security cert that they have incorrectly flagged and should be resolved shortly.
Today we are releasing the second beta of Fences 6 with a few updates based on feedback from the community and a couple bug fixes as well. The update is rolling out now and you search for the update in the About panel of the configuration panel. With Fences 6, we packed it full of new features like tabs, icon tint, and a lot more and tha
One of the great joys of working at Stardock is releasing new products. From scoping a product, testing, feedback loops, and finally, shipping the app – it’s a lot of work and also a lot of fun. One of the key aspects of shipping an update is taking screenshots and it’s a lot harder than you might think. Thus, the reason for this post as it’s a bit of inside baseball about how we think about how to post product screenshots and of course, using wallpapers from W
Hello, One of our Multiplicity hosts suddenly complained that the license has expired. This is a Multiplicity 4 Pro license purchased about a month ago. I attempted to re-activate, but it tells me that the license key is invalid. I copied it directly from the email I received from Stardock. Please advise. Thanks, Kerry
If you can send me a DM (if you havent opened a ticket yet) with yo
Last month, we released the first beta of Fences 6 which includes new tab functionality. While tabs are self-explanatory, how they function and the different designs available, is worthy of a blog post. To get started, install Fences 6 and create two Fence groups on your desktop or select any of the Fence groups on your desktop if you used the default onboarding layout. With your mouse, drag
