I just realized that Paul. You was faster than me on the submit button. (Yeah, I cant get use to this smilies) I also noticed that the comments dont have a time stamp as the other MB

That is true Hus, but that will be on his options and choices. What I'm referring to is any other users that want to have access to that particular author's gallery. Don’t forget that if that author's name appears only on the icon section, then his name will be invisible to anyone that doesn’t directly visit that particular section. The old site had that list on all pages and it was visible at all times. <im
Isn't that what the user sites are for? Yeah, but why go thru all the extra clicking? Isn’t the purpose of the new site to be easier to navigate and more user friendly? I thought the general idea of the new site was to have everything the old site had, plus all the new features and sections. If a ne
And that is the reason why I dont own a laptop.
Happy Birthday Tiggz. Hope you have a great one.
Thankx JD I got the show skins with a certain number of stars, but I still cant choose what libraries I want showed on the list.
I made mentions of a few things on the other thread. So I'll copy and paste them here for suggestions. As I understand, the site themes wont be implemented yet so you can disregard the 1st suggestion. One of my favorite and unique features of the old site was the cool way each user could 'customize' the site's template. A few other things are: -The old site will open a new window with the comment history of a skin when click on the
Yeah well, once the skin is out the downloads will determine that aspect of the work. So we do care about them. Lets face it, would you download a skin with poor quality? NO you wont. So the downloads will show how good or appealing the skin is. Low downloads will tell the author that his/her work needs improvement. Think about that. Anyways, that will be a different subject of discussion. This thread is about the goal achived by WSTaylor.
my question is "why care about downloads?". Well the truth is that all authors care about downloads. After all, this site (as many others) is run by numbers. Download counts determine a lot of things. One good example is the recent contest SD held, where
- On the old site the most recent comment on a skin was on top. This new site puts the recent comments on the bottom and only shows a certain number of comments per page, so again you have to click on a next page to view/read the last comment given.
I’m on the same boat as those with the site's template. The brighter the better.... NOT! One of my favorite and unique features of the old site was the cool way each user could 'customize' the site's template. A few other things are: The old site will open a new window with the comment history of a skin when click on the skin's link. This new site opens a window with the shot of the skin and desc
Congrats on your milestone Taylor. Hope to read you at your 200K mark
JD said it best. Some parts of a skins are better off left at default. I have try using other colors as oppose to white and I got a lot of problems with other programs (some images cant be seen, text are hard to read, Icons shadows dont show, etc. If you read the comments on some of the skins that have other colors (as you would like) you'll noticed how many complains from users that cant read the fonts, some mouse pointers look invisible, etc. But you can always edit this colors your se
Shouldn't be hard to find...it's in them wire thingies.... Dont give him any ideas Jafo, he might black-out the entire county. Hurry on back IR, I still want to see that 'Apoc sucks' wallpaper <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokeg
I clicked on this thread out of curiosity and now I regret it. What a waste of time a bandwidth. > What need to see (and few brilliant authors do it) is some noce originals idea that make us feel like our desktop is unique not some MAC OS X copy cat . <br
The skins you see on this site are made and configured to run with the WindowBlind program. They dont work on XP Style unless you port/edit and configure them to be used with XP Style. Shell Style Support means that the skin will display the images found on the left side of the explorer window. UIS1 Support means that the skin is made to run faster but there are limitations on some of the features <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
Of course. The ones with your walls got the highest ratings!! Thats because he paid me and IR to rate them high
Koasati, I totally over read that part. If the Boot screen was change with a hack program or by modifying the Windows boot .ini file with out making a backup file then its a totally different story.
In order to remove the Logon screen you'll need to install LogonStudio again and click on the 'Restore default XP logon' then you can delete LogonStudio again
1) Do you want to delete your daughter's account, just the Logon screen or the entire LogonStudio program? 2) The link to WC problem might be caused by one of those annoying cookies. Try cleaning your cookies and history folder.
The problem with your Logon is that before deleting LogonStudio you have to set it to the default Windows Logon. The problem with BootSkin might be that you are running SP2 and it might be conflicting with the BootSkin program.
You want to create/put together your own theme suite or download and install one from the site?
Progress animations? For what application?
A BootSkin only requires 2 images (both 16 color 4 bit) and a short coded .ini file (which can be done using notepad) The images can be done or edited with MS Paint (the default graphic program of Windows) The quickest way to learn is to open an existing BootSkin and replace the images with your own and edit the necessary fields on the .ini file.
Ok, maybe you can keep ONE of Tiggz too... But thats it!! > IR, anything with that fine babe Britney puts a big smile on my face............. NOT!!
