Hi, Thank you all for your kind words. We are humbled and will continue to deliver new features to the software you love. Zargon
Did you install it as an Administrator? If not, try logging into an account that has Administrator access, uninstall the app, then reinstall. Zargon
Can you describe this a bit more? I can see how the stack works on a dock, but want to make sure I understand your recommendation for Fences. Zargon
Hi, You are not the first user to ask for these features, however thank you for your input! We have your suggestions on "The List" (tm). Zargon
Your taskbar is missing? I think that is a special case. Again, we have only seen desktop shortcuts go away for shortcuts that point to files on a network share. Possibly because Windows removes them if the resource is not available. Zargon
That should just work. Could they have some group policy settings that are blocking use? Zargon
Rick, Sounds like an integration issue. What other software are you running on your PC that runs in memory (all the time)? Zargon
Is anyone else seeing this? Zargon
I'm running Fences Pro v 1.1.0.375 and have been experiencing problems with slow display of desktop icons upon boot up of my WINDOWS 7 x64 system. When fences pro is enabled, and desktop is first displayed upon boot, the fences appear w/out desktop icons (no icons anywhere on desktop), and it takes maybe 20-40 seconds for the icons to finally appear on the desktop. When I disable fences pro, and reboot, icons appear immediately upon display of desktop.
Do you have the
not only slow, icons are extremely slow to respond with mouse over & flicker all over the place???.Have rebooted, reinstalled etc etc ,still no go ?? HELP
What OS are you on? Zargon
Great, glad to hear it worked out for you. Zargon
Not currently, we have this on the list for potential updates. Zargon
Thank you for the suggestions. You are not the only ones who want Rollup. I just shoved a note under the developers door. ;-) Zargon
Pete, You could try uninstalling, then clean out Fences. Delete all of the registry keys under here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Fences Delete all of the files under here: %programfiles%\Stardock\Fences Pro Delete all of the files under here: %ProgramData%\Stardock\Fences Then reinstall. See if that helps. You might have a bad rule or other setting. Zargon
Hi, Please open a ticket with support to have them help you with this issue. https://esupport.stardock.com/ Zargon
Ken, I can confirm we fixed that issue in 1.01. Zargon
Hi, Actually you are getting the error on a different file. We updated all of the files today, please give it a go again. Zargon
Deathtongue, Please click on the question mark (blue circle) in Impulse then select Impulse Error Log. Please post that here. Also, if you have not tried since 2pm EST today, please try again. Zargon
Strato84, Happy New Year, we are back. Impulse does a check of the files necessary for update and then changes the update size. If you actually try to do the update, does it change to MB in size? Zargon
Happy New Year, Assuming that you are still having the problem (please try downloading the update again and let us know if you are still having the problem) can you please post here the following: 1) Are you having problems updating any other software 2) What Anti-Virus software are you running? 3) What version are you trying to update from (1.00, 1.01, 1.09, etc.) Thank you! Zargon
Hi, This is not a copyright thing. We are looking into the issue. Zargon
Glad to hear that helped. Thank you so very much for letting me know it solved your problem. Cheers! Zargon
OK. Thank you so much for providing this, however I need to manage your expectations. The fix for this is not going to be trivial. With that said, we do think it is important to the quality of the product, so we are adding it to the list. Zargon
