Sorry to waste your time. It seems that this is a MS 'issue' not Stardock: Outlook icon missing from Windows taskbar - Outlook | Microsoft Learn Seems a strange default. But thank you for taking the time to take a look

Hiya 1. This is my Win version 2. Enhance is on (but also same issue if off) 3. Never combine 4. Autohide off Thanks for your continued support
Thank you, But will that solve the main issue of Outlook App disappearing/shutting down? Cheers
Hi I have has this issue over at least the past year over many version releases and hoped it would magically get fixed. This issue is on both my Desktop PC and my Surface Pro 9, both running Win Home 22631.3958 and Office 365 I have Start 11 2.08 taskbar at the top of my screen and have pinned Outlook and other Apps. When I initially click on the Outlook Icon the Outlook Window opens. If I open, say an email, then when I hover over the icon it shows both mini windows (see
Thank you- sorted
Hi I am installing OD and inc particular Start11 and Fences on a new Win 11 PC and get this error message for any app: What's up? Thank you
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, that look like an insider preview version. Which Stardock do not support. However, we appreciate your report.
OK-

Hi I have a couple of issues using a Surface Pro 8 (my desktop at home does not have this problem despite all being the same versions etc). 1. The Taskbar does not extend to the top of the screen but a gap of about 1cm. But all the MS app maximised come up to the bottom of the Taskbar which is good 2. You can't really see it in the image below but there is a transparent grey box which above and around the Start button- doesn't effect the operation at all
Hi Same problem still exists: when hovering over a task bar icon (eg Outlook) it displays another app (eg Teams) and when cleaned goes to Teams. Really really annoying as you have to use Alt Tab to scroll through to Outlook. However, and this may help, it occurs only on the designated main screen when using multiple monitors. The other connected monitors including the Surface Pro work fine. If I unplug the SP8, (and it reverts to becoming the main screen) it inherits t
Just got latest install prompt and still get this error. Win 11 on PC

But I do get this on both my desktop and SP8. If you hover over an icon in the taskbar (in this case Google Photos) it highlights a differnt app. And if you click the icon- it will open up the highlighted (wrong) app. In this case What's app. Seems to be a misalignment
If you resize the taskbar to two rows and then back to one does this stop this issue with maximized notepad? If not are you running any other software that might impact the taskbar or reserve space for itself?
Bizarely- it seems to work OK now. All I did was right click on Edge in teh Start 11 Menu. Select Properties. Then select run as normal window. Notepad also works. Weird
Same with Notepad when maximised:
Hi I am still getting this problem with certain apps (many inc Settings, Edge, Lightroom) where the App Window opens with its top egde against teh top of the montor and a taskbar sized gap at the boottom. The problem is that the top end is covered up by Start 11 taskbar (if at top) and one can't access file menus or minimise etc. Or grab the top of teh app to move to a second monitor See pics of bpottom and top (in this case iwth Settings window) I am on latest Win 11
Phew seems fixed. Thank you
And likewise lightroom:
I am also losing the top line ie file menu and minimise button etc on Edge. This is hidden behind the taskbar at the top of the screen. I have to reboot each time to fix for it for a bit any thoughts? Thank you
hope this gets fixed up as I love Start 11. I am unistalling and try agin in a day or so. I also note that Fences no longer works on same build- referring to Windows Explorer 'didn't start properly'
Thank you for that heads up- teh joys of betas. I'll hang in there
Hi I have latetest version of Win 11 and beta of start 11, and love it. But this week I have had this happen on both my SurfacePro 8 and my desktop machine: See the ringed area and the right hand side cut off. Great if you can fix it soon Thanks! Blane
