Do you know if similar .ini files are available to fix the folder appearance in XP?
In XP and earlier, you will be able to call it from RightClick Desktop > Properties > Appearance, and under said "Appearance" tab, to see a list of your WB skins EITHER click the down-arrow to expand the dialog box below "Windows and Buttons" OR click the "WindowBlinds" tab that WindowBlinds added to the Appearance Window.
Simply log-in in the upper right corner of the Wincustomize home page. If the ads don't go away, unfortunately you might have some spyware.

Normally the Administrator account is hidden from view. According to Microsoft documentation, it appears on the Welcome screen only in the following situations: --No other administrative user accounts exist --You start your computer in Safe Mode --The Adminstrator account is logged on and you're using Fast User Switching --In Windows XP Professional, if the Welcome screen is enabled, you can log-on to the "hidden" Administrator account by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice.

When I was having the problem, yes I am a Wincustomize subscriber and yes I have the Wincustomize browser. In my case, when I was having the problem, I could update skins through the Wincustomize browser normally but not through Stardock Central. Previously I could update skins through either program. "Restoring" the previous version of SDC using the "restore" shortcut in the SDCentral folder cured the problem, at least for me.
This happened to me, too (won't update skin list, same dll error on program shutdown). I went to the "Stardock\SDCentral" folder in My Computer. In the list of files in that folder, there is a filename called "restore." It's listed as a shortcut. I double-clicked that file name, there was a short pause, then Stardock Central opened and everything is now working fine. In the past, with some skins I have had similar alignment problems if, from within Display Properties, the Settings, Advanced, General, Display, DPI setting was not set to "normal" and/or the Appearance, Font Size was not set to "normal." Since this morning (June 8) I have been unable to sort skins by any other order then the default "updated" order. Clicking another sort order has no effect, the page reloads, but the order does not change. I have dumped all cookies and temp internet files but it made no difference.
