The only way I know of ATM is to disable skinning on modern app titlebars. It looks boring, but better boring than weird... PS. For quicker access, this is the direct link to the chrome custom titlebar for Win10: chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar Just paste it into chrome and press enter. It will highlight the correct option to disable.

"Windows 10 Style" is indeed the default Windows 10 start menu. I believe it's there so you can replace the start orb but keep the menu itself. I don't think there is a start menu with both tiles and nested all programs menu.

After painstakingly replicating the Aero Glass UI from Vista/7 to the best of my ability (I really, REALLY, hate the Win10 UI) I have come to a halt when it comes to skinning the taskbar and start menu: I can't make the start orb stick out on top of the small taskbar. I've started putting together a Win7 skin, but due to limitations in the WB skinning engine the start menu won't skin properly. As stated above, the start menu will not skin unless you have Start10, but even though I have it I can't get it to behave properly: for some reason the right side buttons on the start menu share font colour with the right side expanded start menu buttons, which makes one of them unreadable when the background is transparent black on one and opaque

I considered that, but that would look weird with maximised windows, so I dismissed that idea.

@LightStar: Yeah, I thought so as well, since the same method that worked in Win7 won't work in Win10. @Gaspershooters: Thanks for the tip. I will check it out. Edit: Just saw that CustomizerGod doesn't allow changing of the start button in Win10. I'll just have to wait and see if StartIsBack++ will add support for WindowBlinds skinning in the future. Here's the thing: I'm trying to recreate the Windows 7 look in Windows 10 for personal use, but I can't get the start orb to stick out on top of the small taskbar like in Win7 and Vista, neither in WindowBlinds or Start10. Is it doable, or am I wasting my time trying?

I tried Start10 soon after installing Windows 10 and rather enjoyed it. However, after my trial period was up I couldn't afford it right away and had to switch to another alternative. As soon as I got my salary I decided to buy a license and reinstall the software, but now I find my Modern apps folder is completely empty, even though they appear in Windows Start. After two reinstalls the problem persists.
