Just so you know, the AI doesn't have any preference for human targets (below Manager, it tries to avoid humans, in fact)
I was already expecting it to be a result of my play-style (adjacency optimization), so no worries there. And i always play at Manager or higher (against 7 AIs). BTW: Thanks for the rapid response. [e digicons][/e] Now i know the postings have actually been read, which gives me

This problem did not occur before beta 8! The steps for me to (80% of the time) reproduce this hang is: Start a skirmish game; Immediately end the game by hit Escape and selecting the 'Save and exit game' option from the menu; Select 'Skirmish' -> 'New Skirmish Game'; I can change the settings and the 'Game Rules', but the moment i hit the 'Play Game' button the game stops responding to any mouse c

As the title states. However the AI can buy the stock that is owned by other AIs, and this sometimes frees shares that i then can pick up. As a result, for me to kick an AI out of the game i have to do a complete buyout of a his stock in one go; while the AIs can cooperate to buy me out. [e digicons]>:([/e] &nbsp

On the summary screen that is shown at the end of a game the values for Final Money and Final Debt are switched. The amount of money at the end of the game are displayed on the 'Final Debt' row and the final debt values are displayed on the 'Final Money' row. You can see this in Soren's twitch feed of 25th of November at the 00:53:04 mark. Furthermore a number of the initially shown values in th

Occasionally the bidding by the AI gets completely out of control. It will bankrupt itself and will then be an immediate target for buyout. Suicide by Bidding. See the screenshot. I stopped bidding at 28K, but the AI in a bidding frenzy went over $1.000.000. After that its stock dropped to $1, which triggered a buy up race; in which i acquired the company. <img style="vertical-align: baseline;" src="https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/c547/sfj1e28pse

Maybe this is working as designed but it is rather wasteful. Since i can see what my teammate is researching i assume that he can see what i am researching. It is possible that this was an edge case because of the circumstances: I had two patent offices and was researching two patents (slant drilling and carbon scrubbing - in this order); My AI teammate was researching perpetual motion; One of my patent offices got mutinied and i mutinied it back wit

It is a three step problem (bug?): your teammate researches a patent; then is bought out by an opposing player; finally you buy that opposing player. You can now re-research all the patents that the opposing player held, except for the patent(s) that were researched by your (now former) teammate.

Or Megaman gradually bought Redymare (eg he already owned 50% and then bough out the other 50%, in which case that 50% was already accounted for in the stock price of Megaman before the buy out. While Bassman might have bought out Razzk in one go (going from 0% to 100% in the buyout) Looking at the graph my estimates of the percentages might not be to far off. And looking at the faint text in the background, that Megaman bought out Bassman makes it probable: Bassman ha
Black Market: alot of the new BM items add fun variety to the game. However, it also creates some un-fun situations where the BM dictates the endgame, such as when there is no protection (too risky offworlds) or there is no sabotage (no way to impede offworlds). Overall I like the new options. Scientific gets wrecked by magentic storm and Pirates. Expansive/Scav wins easy when theres no way to slow them down, or destroy the offworlds when it gets to end game. If theres no

I am not talking about the menus, but about the UI that is shown when you actually start the map. It does not matter what kind of map, or display settings, as long as i am playing with less than 7 AI then the game shows the in-game UI. In the previous version it did work properly. I even tried the DX9 or the OpenGL modes, and those did not matter for the behaviour of the showing of the in-game UI. Map settings 6 AI. <img style="vertical

Soren (or anyone from Mohawk), is it possible to color code the HQ upgrade button(s) depending on whether you can upgrade the HQ for just resource cost versus an upgrade which includes money? For example something like: green if you have sufficient resources to upgrade the HQ yellow if you have insufficient resources but can upgrade with additional money. At moment you have to mouse-over an upgrade button to see in the tooltip whether t

Not really patents, but related to it: Dead patent revival - All patents held by all bought-out companies are returned to the open market, and can be researched (possibly against reduced costs) again by anyone. Possibly this 'Patent' can be researched multiple times. Patent Trolling - Dead patents held by companies owned by the (Patent Trolling) patent holder can not be revived. Possibly multiple companies can research this. Patent Dispute - Try to steal a pate

Cubit32,
Spherical Construction: All buildings have +25% production (due to having more space to produce in)
+1 However 25% might be a bit OP, since this would be equivalent to the first level (improved) for all resources in the Engineering Lab: 260 (13 x 20) chemi

Claim relocation - Allows you to disclaim tiles, and thereby increasing your claims count. Useful for when a resource has been nuked into oblivion, or when you want to reorganize your layout to increase adjacency bonuses. Deep mining drilling - Gives you access to a building that increase the resource level. Building must be built at a resource tile, then it must work for a given time, when finished the building is removed (possibly this also takes time). After this you have a empty t
