Why must the old-version be first uninstalled? Reading all the comments i think i first wait a little while before installing this new version. First the bugs must be solved and make it possible to update instead of first uninstall the old version.

Hi Sean, thanks for your help! Greetings, Bussie
Hi there Stardock, on 23 juli 2019 i payed via PayPal for the renewal of my OD and Wincustomize subscriptions. When i look at my downloads i see that OD is renewed but WinCustomize isn't. The last few years this every times happens, why? Please could you correct this? If you need more information (financial) please let me know by email or private message. G
Hi there, today i've installed Tiles (should have done this much sooner, nice program!). I'm wondering: where are the settings of Tiles saved? I would like to take this in my daily backup. Thanks! Bussie
You need to try Object Desktop Manager, Stardock Central is no longer supported. http://download.stardock.com
Where do i find ODM? I can't see it under my account / my downloads
Hi there, same problem here! I didn't make big changes to my system and sudenly no more systrem tray icons in OD. Stardock, any ideas? If you need more information please let me know! BUSSIE
This is a little to obvious.....
Hi there, i have changed in the registry the paths where WB must find the skins (my skins are on my e-partition). After installing the latest WB update the path in the registry is reset to the original path (c:\documents and settings\ all users and so on). Is it possible to prevent this with a next update of WB?
Greetings, BUSSIE
Hi Neil, many thanks for your reaction! That did the trick Greetings, bussie
Hi there, I have installed WB 6 and after installing it i did change the registry so that WB would find my skins in other folder then de default folder on the C-drive. After doing this the WB configuration window doesn't look good, like this: Does someone know a solution for this?
Hi there, many thanks for your reaction. Editing the registry is no problem for me. I only want to know what steps to take exactly and in what order. In the forum posts it is explained, but for me not cleary enough. I hope someone can write down the steps exactly for me.
Hi there, i did read in the history file of WB and in a forum here that with updating to the with latest beta-version of WB the skins will be placed into other folder on the c-drive. I'm not happy with that because i haven't enough room anymore on this drive for all my skins. I did see that there was written a solution for it, but i don't understand it completely how to do it. Can Stardock (or someone else) describe step by step how to update to this latest WB version?
Hi there, i would like to reply to the replies above. I think when there are forums that people of Stardock should read and answer questions in these forums. I'm already a long time user of Stardock products (since OS2 days) and i'm used to getting answers via the forums from Stardock people. Sending a question to doesn't get you always an answer. The reason that i did post my question in the OB-section was that i did think that the new version
Hello people at Stardock. Could someone of you care to response to my question? Greetings!
Hi there, After installing the latest WB and OB i have problems with showing the wallpapers set in OB on the destkop. In every VD of OB i have set a different wallpaper. When i start up my PC and / or switch to an another VD in OB i don't get the wallpaper that is shown in the VD of OB on my desktop. I can see in the upper left and right corner of the desktop a little of the wallpaper that is shown in de VD of OB. So it seems that there is another wallpaper on
First CD: Dire Straits "Love Over Gold" and i still have it. I remember i did almost blew up my speakers with it, because when i did play it i did think "hmm i don't hear nothing, what's happening" and suddenly .. a lot of music That was the very big difference with the LP, the big dynamic....
No Zune for me. I did read on a Dutch website that if you share a file that has no DRM, that then after sharing the file has DRM I think we people must do something about DRM madness. Away with DRM!
I have the same problem too and almost every day. Would someone from Stardock react to this post please? I think it is strange no one from Stardock is responding to this. I must say the support from Stardock lately is a little bit disappointing. I did send Stardock () a week ago an e-mail about Control Centre and till today no reaction...... Come Stardock react please!
I don't think M$ will do that. Europe is an important market for M$ and putting VISTA more late on the market in Europe will cost M$ much money. For the Americans telling just good for Europe and things like that...... look we have laws here in Europe and M$ has to follow these laws like Europe has to follow laws from the US that Europe doesn't like..... (i don't think i have to give examples) Delaying VISTA indefinitl
Hi, Many thanks for your reaction. This did the trick. Bye,
Hi there, I have just upgraded to the latest beta of OB. If i remember correctly in old the version of OB there was an option to hide all the desktop icons. I don't see it in the latest beta of OB. Is this correct (or don't ik look good) and if this option is no more available, will it be back in the final release of 2.0 or is there another way to hide all the desktop icons?
I did define a Control Center setup and after rebooting my PC, most sections are gone. I can see that the controlcenter.obbar and controlcenter.ini are changed after rebooting the PC. Does anyone know why this happens and how i can solve it?
Frogboy did say: No, Americans don't think it's good. But we also believe that the blame for the violence can be put to the people who initiated the attacks, not Israel. You are missing my point i think. The kind of reaction that Israel is taking now is much too strong i t
Ah a typical American point of view..... I live in The Netherlands and i have the following reaction to your story. Microsoft has to follow the laws in the EU. The EU believes M$ isn't doing that and that is why M$ has to pay. If M$ doesn't agree M$ can go the the Court in Europe, that is the correct way. The Court will decide if the EU is right or not. I hope that you as an American (and all other Americans) a
It is already since a long time that the updates of WB are wipping the per application list. Just backup your ini's and restore them later. But Stardock should of course change it..... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/St
