I've tried MusicMatch and Rhapsody (paid subscription) and had issues with both, switched to Napster and had no problems. I can play the songs with Winamp or WMP10 with no problems as well as my Creative Zen portable. Kazaa, I couldn't offer any information, I just haven't gone that route.

WB can be set to handle different applications with different or no skin. In the configuration window, select "Per application", from there you can make your changes.

Your other option is to use "EasyMessage2" or "Gaim". Both are much like Trillian but use whatever skin WindowBlinds applies.
