1080p running on 24" Viewsonic, not 4k capable. I don't think that really matters, the message bar should be under the share market table not over the top. If someone was running a low rez I would guess not only the 8th company would be unable to be brought, but so would the 7th and 6th.
I had issues with the sudden buy-out in the solo game and even in the multiplayer ones too. But I found as some have mentioned, by keeping dept down to as low as possible or best zero'd, tends make you survive longer, and I also found if you can get controlling shares in your own company seems to slow others from buying you out. By doing this Ive won game against companies that have brought out +50% of the rest of the companies. The other things I found useful was
yes latest version through Steam. only affects the 8th player slot, so anyone playing in a 8 player game should take advantage of the fault while they can? ;)
I found if you have 8 players, the message GUI site over the top of the player share-market table, making impossible to buy or sell share in player 8's company.
