I have to agree. While playing Ashes I never found Turtling with static defenses to be that effective. Unlike games that rely heavily on defensive structures to survive, in Ashes they always felt more like support structures to help my units.

Great to hear! Be sure to share your feedback with us so we can improve the game.
This is the first machine I went with liquid cooling and I love it! My CPU stays at low temps under load, and I don't hear a thing. Next, I'm going to get a liquid cooled video card. [e digicons][/e]
Quoting Frogboy, reply 4 I didn't perceive any lag when I played with it. I just looked up the article. I was a bit low, it's around 166ms, but 166ms lag is not out of the typical range for modern gaming, on par with most consoles. Did they have any
Thank for reporting this. I was able to reproduce the issue and will pass the details onto the team.
Great feedback! Thank you for taking the time to share it with us. Stay tuned for updates. :)
Thank you for taking the time to share the screenshot and info. I noticed the same blurriness when playing at 1920x1080 resolution. I'll be sure to pass the information to the team.
I definitely like the Pause option because it helps with planning the initial tower placement. I would love to see an ironman option as mentioned above that allowed no pause option. It would be cool to reward players who want the extra challenge. Of course, we would need to change something in the map on ironman so they wouldn't know what to expect. [e digicons];)[/e]
I'm speaking more from my personal preference here, but I think a Survival RTS would be too close to what Ashes already offers. It would feel too much like an Ashes mod rather than a full game so to speak. I think that if Ashes didn't exist in its current capacity it would be awesome to see a Survival RTS from the universe. They are Billions is a great game and I am looking forward to what Conan Unconquered has to offer.
Thank you for sharing the info. We'll take a look at the scaling.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
4) Corrupted healers seem to spawn in too great of numbers per wave. They always seem to get to my base despite using both heavy firepower and AoE style damage.
Is there a particular stage that you feel there are too many healers, or is in all stages?
6) The 'Alt' key pathing effect seems to get stuck down on occasion. I think it has something
I've been giving a lot of thought to artificial intelligence as we see it today. With past and present video games, we are used to learning a programmed algorithm and finding those weak spots to exploit. But what about an AI that is actively learning from the decisions you are making. Are we ready for something like that in an RTS game? I love the idea of something like OpenAI being leveraged in a good RTS game. I think it would be awesome to see what kind of strategies it would come
Do you have the same issues when using different audio sources? (Headphones, speakers, etc.)
Are you using multiple monitors?
Apologies for the delayed response to your issue. Are you still having issues getting the game to start up?
Apologies for taking so long to get a response. Are you still having issues with the GoG installation?
It is an interesting thought to managing node defense. I like it.
Be sure to check out the Stardock Discord for people interested in playing.
I used to be a Steam purist who refused to buy a game if it was on any other platform. Now I really don't care so long as I can play the games I love. I look forward to more competition in the digital distribution platforms.
Hello there! Unfortunately old saves can't be loaded when a new version is released. New builds can include some significant changes that would not work well with saved games from an old version. As someone who loves to load up old save games I understand it's a bummer.
Have you validated the game files in Steam to see if anything is missing? Edit: Silly mobile autocorrect...
Hey Lycan, thanks for bringing it to our attention. Can you provide your save file so we can attempt to reproduce the issue? Thanks!
I have a single monitor and the cursor does not show.... suggestions?
Try ALT+TAB a few times and see if it displays your cursor correctly. You may also use ALT+ESC to minimize the game, then click on it in the taskbar to bring it back up.
If you are interested in finding a good space-based sci-fi show to watch, you need to check out the Expanse. It was on SyFy for a bit but Amazon recently acquired the rights to it and just finished up Season 4. The storyline moves between political intrigue and some crazy science so it keeps you interested from start to finish if that's your thing.
I can't even describe how hyped I am for this game.
