I had a starbase that let me move it once and that was it. I thought I was staring at the screen too long and had lost my mind.

There should be an option for morality and war for each race when starting the game. That would throw a bunch of new possibilities in the mix. It would be great to be able to make a race Pure Good and Pacificts, or Chaotic Evil Treehuggers, or Neutral and Bloodthirsty.

Messages to Opponents in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

It would be nice to have more options in dealing with other races. What comes to mind is a message I sometimes get that talks about another race is stinking up the galaxy and we should band together, but not at this time. I would love to have more options on the Speak To screen as well as more feedback. It seems I give them something to make them more friendly and they just say, "Thanks." The diplomacy is deep, but I could use more.

Fixed the problem. Once inside StarDock central, you have to register again. I must have entered my serial number 5 times already in various places. sorry for the post.

How do I get the latest patch in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I downloaded StarDock central and there is no mention of anything newer than 1.01.029. And, even though SD central shows this as my version, when I upload to the metaverse it still shows me having 1.010000. Please help. I paid for the game and find it disturbing that getting a patch is so difficult. I understand that SD central helps promote other products and whatnot, but it shouldn't hamper the patching of a game. any help would be helpful.

Custom Ship Construction: I would like to be able to customize how my ships are outfitted. It would be nice to be able to build ships with older technology that may be cheaper so, in times of need, I can pump out more ships. Combat Strategy: I wish that combat wasn't simply a matter of "Build more than them". I'm not even talking about a huge change, just something that gives me an option to use some sort of tactic(s) to make war feel a bit more under my control. <
