From what I can tell, that's exactly the opposite of what the user wants. I believe I am experiencing the same difficulty. PROBLEM: When I am in a maximized program, I do not want the Dock to come over top of it. It should only appear when I am on my desktop and should not go over top of other programs. I also want it to be hidden when not in use. There seems to be no setting for this, though. NEEDS: An auto-hide setting that al
