As far as I know Nightmare AI have more starting gold than players, and I know they accrue experience at a higher rate then players do (ie they get more for doing the same things) so it would not surprise me if they also simply gain gold at a higher rate. But I can think of two other possible reasons. 1 - did your team purchase the currency upgrade? If you did not but the AI did this would give them a higher income than you and help explain high gold on the other team <

I spent so long on here reading about blade of the serpents being awesome for TB wondering why I couldn't get it, if it was an old item no longer in the game etc etc... When I finally spotted that little tab there I felt like such a douche *crosses fingers in hope of a single post*
Half mana for slight health damage... many healings for sedna... maybe assassins only?
hehe i love it when i host a game and someone suggests kicking me.... it amuses me infinitely
Splitshadow, I'm not sure I buy the bots beast really being able to harras that much early on, sure you can spit everytime its off cooldown but monks seems to make lvl 1 spit pretty ineffective for harassing, and a lot of demigods will be dealing damage to you as you spit e.g. TB can get off a couple of AA (doing more damage than a lvl 1 fireball) while you spit him. Though if you have a monk, that gets negated pretty quickly as well. And say you spend a minute or a minute and a half dri
I work in an emergency control room for fire brigade. I am presently sat at work with various fire's /other incidents going on around the county sniggering away reading this. I think the people I work with suspect I may have actually snapped. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
yay im in the minority
Replay went to invalid gamestate during the first battle over exp flag [e digicons]:(O[/e]
I'm gonna have to watch that replay cos tbh I've never seen a good fire tb that I can recall.
2 quick questions 1. I assume I'd only have to download the 1.2 version to get all the fixes listed in the older versions or do I need to download all 3? 2. I assume I can activate and deactivate this in the 'Mod Manager' so can still play with the majority of players not using this?
just played a quick game vs AI to try these mods out the seems pretty awesome, though is embarrassing how few items i can remember by the picture alone
can you use those mods even if other players dont have them?
Sounds good to me [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
I tried something quite similar to this build today, have decided to practice all the DG's so I can play random games more often as they are fun (except when i get UB cos I'm terrible with him for some reason)... but thought I'd start with LE and focus around charm and bite, with batswarm where poss, worked very well until late game when i felt a bit squishy but that was prob cos I'd bought angels, catas and giants and only had about 4k health
I found sigils a bit of a waste as TB, if I'm in that much trouble as TB that I can't get away, usually an extra 3000 hp wont help, and I'll die anyway. Am considering trying out the Journey Man's Treads, not sure what to drop. Anyone else used them?
All good I played a TB game a couple of days ago where there was an Occ on my team who insisted on following me everywhere i went. I had no manna all game, cos every time i used BotS, chain lightning killed everything before i could do anything... he just wouldn't go away. Terrible to be laned with early game [e digicons]:'([/e]
Shall be checking this out once home from work...
awesome, so currency isn't a benefit per mine, just an overall benefit then?
quick question, without upgrades how much gold is produced by gold mines per second or per minute or however they tick over. Obviously different maps you start with different numbers of mines etc but this would be a useful number to know
Kills almost never win games. Like Synn said, it's all about map control in higher level games.
this put a smile on my face, i thought my biggest issue with tb was that i can do a good job of driving off other demigods once they have been hit by all my damage/stuns/deep freeze but find it hard to get the kill... i'm not a top level player by any means but its n
Perhaps make the citadel upgrade paths more like the demigod paths so the top level is often something different but a little bit uber... a quick example like ub... inner beast is movement speed and attack speed but top level changes to damage reduction. Make it worth teching all the way up
yeah i had a feeling that would be the case, a 70hp swing per attack seemed a little too promising
Item states that when hit it reflects 35 damage back... now does this mean they take 35 damage, or that you take 35 damage less AND they take 35 damage. Obviously one is far superior to the other. Also does it activate for abilities or just AA and is the damage it reflects mitigated by armour etc Just curious as to how this item works really,
Ive had this happen and usually I dont have to close demigod, if i enter a single player skirmish game and then just end the game a few seconds after it has begun I can re-log in to the internet fine after that... not sure why it works but it has for me
i haven't got any saved but I'm playing a fair amount atm so if a good game happens soon i'll save one to post up... would be good to get a bit more criticism on actual game play as am fairly happy with build/items etc enjoyed your tb guide teseer, the section on tactics vs each demigod was really interesting
