I started a game a few days ago (Jan 25, 2025) and the version is 2.94. I'm playing as Torians. I don't think the game started this way but now (Aug 3, 2311) my 3 small commander ships have very limited range and are useless. Is that some change from an update?

One of the artifacts I recovered was to spawn a giant space monster. I used it to spawn one right next to enemy capital. What doe s it do? It ignores the enemy that I wanted it to disrupt and instead makes its way to my territory to wreak havoc. It is a dreadnaught sized monster and I'm still only in frigates. That made me so mad I wanted to return the game for a refund. I sure hope they fix that because now I need to restart to much ear
One of the complaints I've had with all the previous versions of the game is how the AI routinely violates my border. Why not implement a mechanism like almost all other strategy games have where the other nations/factions/etc must either ask for open borders treaty or declare war. Also, there should probably be some repercussion to other civs when my influence completely takes over their stations - without a open borders treaty. If
I love the game but now it's frustrating. I'm playing the campaign and I can reload back about 5 turns. But once I get to a certain point and try to reload with a later save I get an error.
