Hrm I have several friends who are having the same problem with DX2 and Rainlender. Mine has always worked and I haven't changed any configs or anything....not sure why mine is working and others aren't.

Darco you don't need it with Windowsblind but they can certainly co-exist. It *can* be really complicated, just depends on what you want to do. I would like to see a Rainlender section as well. I just started using it a couple of weeks ago and I really love it. I'm not really fond of any of the DesktopX calendars, not saying they're no good or anything, I just liked Rain better. So far I haven't found a real great place for Rain skins so it would be nice. I really cannot

IconX iz whacked.Confirmed by three posts in the DX NG. How is it whacked? Seems to actually be fixed for me now, crashed DesktopX every time I tried to access it in the last DesktopX build...
Um this may not be quite what you want, but what I have is "explorer.exe" (without the quotes of course) in the Link field, then "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop" in the Arguments.

I'm using OD 0.99a and it's working great so far but I'd like to remove the weather docklet. (It also works fine but I've found some desktopx weather objects that I'd rather use instead). So anyone know how I could remove the weather docklet? When I right click on it, I just get options to update or change location. No dock item properties menu or anything. TIA.

QUALITY!!! I run at 1280x1024 and I like to use nice wallpapers, usually bitmaps. I have a real hard time finding quality ones for this size.
Yup. get the new version, released yesterday. Docklet support, Docklet SDK has been released. Weather docklet is included with this new build.
What I did was use Desktop X to configure a small object, and made it the systray. Gave it the same background as my dock. I couldn't do without seeing the systray either.
