I feel your pain, greywar. From your avatar, we may very well be in the same place (igotcha). Don't forget that you also can't use any of your last 25 15-letter passwords, so you alxo have to keep a complete record of them. Not just army though...it's DoD-wide.

I got exactly the same problem. I installed WB5, activated it, rebooted, and every time I tried to run it, it demanded a reboot. For now, I'm sticking with WB4, as I don't have time to fiddle with it. I run WinXP, also legit, and I suspect that it involves WB5 not being allowed to make system/registry changes, and that if I deactivated all my firewall, antivirus, and antispyware I could install successfully, but not sure I want to do that. Just getting ready for Christmas. My wife's son comes over tomorrow for Christmas dinner, and my kids come over Friday to spend a few days with us. Wrapping gifts and setting up the kids' new computer. Merry christmas to all!

It's not the default cursor, it's some sort of animated matrix cursor; the cursor is a green arrow, and there is a block by it with digits cascading down like in the matrix. It's there for a minute or so, then the normal skin cursor appears. I don't usually run more than 1 or 2 programs at a time, and the only skin programs I am running are objectdock stuff. I thought it might have been something in the logon studio program, but can't find any info that it affects cursors.

I am fairly new to using skins. I have somehow managed to get a different cursor that appears during the logon process, then goes away after a minute or so, then the regular cursor for the skin I am using appears. Any ideas as to what might be doing it or how to get rid of it?
