I think they're pretty fairly balanced.
I agree. I think Solar is much more likely to be the target of Black Market actions because if you hit it around dawn you severely hurt the owner if prices are high... where as turbines are less attractive. Plus I've seen a lot of market manipulation to drive down the cost of power during the day and increase it at night just to hurt Solar... Geo is even more r

I like this! I'm not sure if this is your intention but I assume this would "pop-out" when the commodity is mouse-overed? Maybe a button could be pressed to bring up all of them at once for a fixed ledger view I think you can save space by abbreviating the text and removing some empty spaces. Also I'm not sure about he off world purchasing part being here (it would eat up a lot of room when it will only be used by some people in the end game). maybe a follow up m

I kinda like the intro music! Very panic-inducing (which fits this game in some ways lol)

As far as tool tips - Super Ideally you'd have 3 options for tool tips. Verbose which are very detailed and will likely only keep on for the first couple games, basic - which would pop up a very small description and none. I'd love to learn the game with Verbose tool tips turned on. You could remove verbose if the basic tool tips linked back to a detailed help screen / glossary. The goal is to eventually turn them off or to basic after you got it mostly figured out. As far as
I do agree with your point on Underground Nukes. They're either devastating to use (and awful to get hit with), or kind of worthless. Tough to balance this I imagine. I disagree with your point on the AI, but Ive only ever gone up to Executive (my usual level for SP games). They play very smartly, scrapping facilities well, turning off mines when power is expensive etc, also they play a much more rese

First - Great game. For early access I think you guys did a great job in putting out a product that is fairly polished for EA. Where I am coming from: I played a lot of games (30? 40?) almost entirely single player. MP doesn't appeal as much as I like pausing the game quite a bit - though I'm sure I will eventually get into it. I played almost exclusively Expansionist and Scavenger. I haven't gone above Manager level (for the concern liste

This is by no means a realistic simulation of what an actual mars economy would really look like. It's a bubble market simulation with a mars theme. And even when it comes to market simulation it more of a game than an actual simulation. And everyone can lose a game (this happened to me) because prices got so high all the colonists simply left. Everyone loses. As far as your suggestions I like some of them - but to change the game so dramatically at this point is pro

I think Soren's main issue is the difficulty of ending the game if he follows a more realistic route. Personally I'm fine with a countdown time (3 min?) to determine the winner once the last stock has been bought (assuming stocks are valued more rationally so hence it's harder to finish it end game)

I got to second the OPs suggestion! It would be great if we had a MP option were we could set that would slow the game down at a certain point/threshold. It gets really really crazy late game. To add to the rest of the thread my biggest suggestion (so far from my games) is to fine tune the UI. The game seems solid and I'm enjoying myself though!
