Reply to Galactic Civilizations II: Known Issues / How to get support in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I've installed registered and updated my GalCiv Ultimate and have not managed to get it working. :( My drivers are up to date and I've gone through the common issues, tried windowed and fullscreen etc.. but it just keeps crashing at some point between clicking "new game" and just entering the game after going through the galaxy size ...blah...race screens.
