Schism, on the lines of what you're thinking: What if it's not actual unit manufacture, but just another tower that can shoot units that last for a certain amount of time? That way it'd introduce what you want without having to create the whole economic side of unit manufacture. It'd just all be getting fired out of towers instead.

A big shame, in my opinion. I'm not particularly a fan of Chromium-based browsers. I mainly use Firefox, but I really like Edge a lot and it's my 'second' when I need a browser that isn't Firefox to use. I'd probably use it exclusively if it had support for NoScript.

I'd love to see one of those minor species expanded into a full blown species with a comm screen. I think that'd be fun, not really necessary at all though. Also I think it'd be cool if there were more missions, even minor ones, that require us to go into Scryve territory. There's a whole lot of territory there that could be ripe for some dangerous or interesting covert missions and I think that could be fun.

Either way, there's some pretty amazing quests in the Witcher series. Actually there's a quest in Ultima VII where you have to find a wisp and communicate with one - it's really quite unique and interesting how it develops. I think for me those types of quests are really my favourite ones. The ones that aren't necessarily unique because of how they work mechanically, but unique because of who's involved in them. I really love all the quests that you do with trolls in the Witcher series. Each game usually has a couple, and they're always so interesting. The unique quest giver and great dialogue really makes them fun as hell quests to do, and memorable to boot.
