I use the mods where possible, but when joining hosted games many not in use... I can dream of Stardock/GPG adding the 'pacov' mod package as an automatic update but when you dream in one hand and shit in the other you know which hand fills up first.

With Occulus' "brain storm' ability, the description says it removes all negative effects, but it does not remove spit like sedna's heal or purity or shield.... Shouldn't it remove UB spit too?

johnhiot's QOT kicked my ass something feirce! I think she's potenially a force to be reckoned with when in the hands of a good player. I watched johnoits replay and tried his build/stlye and had my arse handed to me. But I spose I did ok considering it was the first time I played her..... My first attempt at DA was abyssmal in comparison. What I'm really saying is currently the demigods are different enought that you must have different play style for the m

\Using this mod players will Need to purchase gold income as a must. Also by increasing gold incomes while decreasing cost of cit upgrade for gold.... I think you may as well increase gold income by the citadel for free with 10 increments, 1 for each war rank. The idea of gold cost being moderately expensive is that early you chose between gear or gold - in the hope for kills or more time on field to farm you chose gear. If you're playing cautious early and invest in gold you get gear lat

Hey this is a great idea for minion redirecting. Rmember if yr feeding all through one lane then ur fattening up the enemy. And if they see this they could redirect their wave to deny you the essential nurtients and minerals :-) Also this could be a good MAP idea. In a large map with multiple lanes and portals there could be a sliding wall that moves between two lanes. This wall cannot be crossed and all range attacks are stopped by it (including AOE spells) there is a switch

Another "cheat" accusation I have seen recenty. When my teammate uses oak (I can't use oak I'm useless) and does a spirit and minion build I've seen people RQ saying minion oak and minion ereb are 'cheating' and 'boring cheat'. Yeah, pm was mucho effective with plague especially considering all creeps were out. Both sides had full citadel buffs and the turn of the tide was my spit with splatter and plague damage effecting the push. The lag was a bitch, if t

Not sure if this idea should be in ideas thread or this one. How about at each side's base there are a couple of toggle/levers (gates or whatever u like to call it). Each lever can be switched by moving to it with right click (like shopping). What do they do? A similar effect to flags. One switch could be a speed/damage switch. The other let's say gold/exp. When switched one way the gate will buff one of these two attributes for all members of the

Hi I've been playing again for a while and now find the ragers in the minority :-) It's a cranky making game 'cos winning is SO much fun lol. COHO was awesome, but they shut that down forever...sob.... Best way for rage negation... let all know we're all friends :-) or do what I do....rage yourself. i rage myself all the time! Now I'd prolly not be around at the right time for a tournament due to time difference between Austalia and USA, but I think to find the best playrt perhaps a more comprehensive score would benefit. I think take into account thier individual achievements similar to favor point scores. How about something like this: In each game a win is 1 point, and an award is 1/2 point. (damage, flags, cit ups). Perhaps if you're on the LOSING team and you score and award make it wort
In some cases the pirate version winds up being better because the retail version is crippled by some kind of DRM. The Ubisoft release I mentioned where they had to release a pirate made crack as an official patch is a great example, because that pirate version actually worked and the DRM broke the retail version for too many people. I bring it up whenever someone says that DRM is only there to stop pirates, because this stuff has a neg

I agree. Yes if there's a craked version that works better than what the devs have put out and you've paid for it then I guess you're really playing a mod. But developers may have a different view if they have not opened it to modding. I do have to say it would be nice if someone could mod or re-build Demigod and provide server based connections. Now will the pirates do that? Probably not, too much work for no revenue. Cd checking was a SERIOUS PAIN :-) &nb

Sounds to me like you should give up gaming altogether if the way things are going make you so mad. I manage a retail store. You'd be surprised how many people we catch stealing with these measures. Sure, a lot of people still walk out with stolen goods and get away with it, but without the security measures at all you'd be surprised how much more gets stolen. Sorry if I make the assumption that you pirate games. If I'm incorrect I apologise. I will

ACTUALLLYYY, yes other forms of validation errors DO occur. Recently here in brisbane the new toll system for the tunnel under the river failed to bill people for a period of months.... When they finally picked up on it everyone got back-charged some up to $500 for use of the tunnel. Now, in this example is it right for me to put a fake numberplate on my car and drive through the tunnel so I don't get billed? (Billing is invoiced via car registration details which are validated by

Its like a arcade and games store for the whole planet free of charge. Once they start selling steam then u can complain. Impulse is headed there too. There doing well for themselves. It will will be a question of where your friends are most and what games you like to play. All is good so far unless you want to start your own version

Meh, who really gives a crap so long as you can load your pc and play your games easily from one community based program. PLus don't forget updates/patches and the rest. Do we seriously forget how much it sucks to search and download the expansions/patches/updates/mods without these carriers. AND!@!!!!! Gifts!!! I got portal for my birthday yesterday sent to me through steam. Easiest birthday gift I ever got. And if your a multi-game g
Those are like the worst ideas that I've heard in this thread.
Thanks that's surely encouraging to the purpose of this thread. Frogboy said they'd like to hear how we would like to see DG evolve. So yeah, everyone says "connectivity, balance, better lobbies". They've already heard that. So criticising ideas on the continuation of the game is counter-productive. S
