Yeah, doesn't sound like your pings are set to smart cast either from what you describe. I have two buttons, one for a target and one for alert. You place the cursor over the map or part of the screen and then either press and release the button for the simple ping, or click and drag for the special ping you want. There isn't any need to press shift or the left mouse button needed if you have your pings on smart cast.

Yeah, their stat system seems to be down. Last time I checked, he was around 47% win rate in Gold level play and around 49% for Plat, but that was just one day so who knows. He'll probably rise up when people start realizing that there are going to be situations where he'd be a good or bad pick, instead of the "go to" support.

@Pacov The way I look at it is that DB is the best if you can get away with it, as in you won't get beat up and zoned by a stronger early game support/ADC combo... and if you do, you have a sustain support who can at least get you to a point where you can get enough health back to safely use the DB on hit sustain to get back in the lane. Since you like to play Draven, I'm guessing you might not appreciate DB as much as you could since forgoing one and just buying boots and Vamp
