You can come play Hearthstone Swan. Cow mostly beat me last night there. Although my Hunter deck that drives Thunders into a rage held its own (when I wasn't making misplays - I shouldn't play that late at night), my experimental Mage deck got murdered. I suppose I should put it back it its non bad form since that was bad, but that Mage deck never works too well even though I like it.
Rage d

@Swan - I got discouraged as well after my second attempt to get in, so I didn't apply again for a long time. After that I stopped putting the effort out and I played with a few people that I got along really well with from MadCast and stopped putting out the always ignored "LFG SR Draft" messages in the chat room. Eventually the folks that I constantly played with urged me to apply again and it was the old third times a charm thing. You're a quality individual and

That's still going on? I'm assuming we're still talking about him barging into your channel mid-game and being disruptive. What have you done personally to dissuade him from the behavior? And who is the head honcho you talked to? His mentor or an RFM or an SFM or Munsa? Hopefully you didn't send a PM to a Staff. Mostly just curious so I know better how to deal with that sorta stuff. Right now my method is have a backup TS3 server of my

I rate myself a world class triathlete at this point... I'd just have to work my butt off to get there and buy a bicycle. Seriously though, not sure why you're so discouraged on playing Ranked. A lot of people I know tanked their promos but climbed back up super quick cause their MMR wasn't hit very hard cause it was a such a soft reset. Took me 7-8 games after my promos to get from Silver I to Gold, and you've probably got a significantly hi

Re MadCast: Most people I've met through the group have been absolutely delightful, but there are a very small subset of the population that think they belong to an internet cult and behave like the equivalent of Jonestown enforcers. Sorry you were treated that way man, and for the record I think your avatar (the one where the dude is like... making cosmic fireworks right?) is awesome.
Just a reminder - we have our big deal scrim tomorrow at 7:30PM EST for anyone that is interested - should be shoutcast, but we'll see on that...
Look forward to watching it! I always get nervous when things like that get shoutcasted. I can see you're preparing for tomorrow's scrimmage by playing some level 22 ARAMs, so I guess you're not feeling too much pressure.. There's another way to look at that last game Cow played. The person who "trolled" him in the game that he randomly picked GP to jungle with actually had a 100% win percentage with Lulu before that game. They had won the only game they played before with her so who knows, maybe they had been practicing her a little in normals after she got popular in the LCS. Everyone (with the exception of Cow and the Lulu who stole his mid) had pretty good stats as far as KDA goes, w

I enjoy watching the analysis of any game, but I'm kinda deflated on the whole Holy Shit I'm Doing Placements And It's a Really Big Deal thing going on in MadCast. Out of my Bronze V buddies, one went 7-3 and completely carried a lot of his games and the other went 5-5. Both ended up in Bronze V again. Other buddies of mine did well and ended up ranked pretty high after, others had horrible luck. The ones who ended up pretty low are all skipping promos
We appear to differ wildly on the things we will do for other things.
To recruit top level talent you gotta be willing to go the extra mile, and Karl is easily the best Jungler I know. If you're referring to Rife as the MadCast support specialist I'd just go with him for the role. He duo'd with Mimira last season and thrived when supporting in Plat games, he's a really cool dude, and he pla

Thanks for your consideration but my work schedule would make that difficult. I work for 3 days then get 6 off so I'd never be able to set aside certain days for practice since the actual days of the week that I work are constantly shifting. My GF is getting her own dedicated internet line setup in about 2 weeks o I'll be more available after that in general if you ever need a fill in.
My oh my did I not like that one chick that joined us for in house games last night. Kind of figured that would be the case - probably should have buggered off when I ended up on her team. .
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the whole "Let's have fun!" thing, cause usually the opposite occurs for me after someone on my team says that. Seems to me that people are under the impression that troll picks are mo

@Pacov Do eeet! I know that it seems like MadCast is full of shiny happy people who just want to fool around all game, but I think there are more like minded folks who want to constantly improve out there than you think. Think of it as a call out to your kindred spirits. @Cow Do eeet! They're trying to zero in on the best way to achieve some semblance of balance for the tournaments. The Halloween one I played in, they tried this thing where they ranke

Good playing with the boys again! Been working a bunch of overtime so my only League fix has been my Kha'zix debate with Karl. But yesterday was my one day off I got that I didn't have to spend with my GF, and I'm back to work. And back to needling Karl! http://www.reignofgaming.net/tier-lists/solo-tier-list/26922-solo-queue-ti

Jayce =/= Kha'zix It's apples and oranges. Jayce picks forced your team to either go no comp or poke comp, which ain't a good thing in SoloQ. This along with the pressure you'd put on your team by not having a bruiser top, made him a tough fit as you detailed eloquently in our last reparte. But, team comp issues were only part of the Jayce issue. The main problem was that pros had the mechanics and wherewithal to abuse traits about him that gu
Eh? On the first page, over half the games are by one guy (Elementz) who isn't even known as a jungler and isn't even very highly ranked for a former pro player.
If you scroll down, you'll find lots more games played, some by actual pro junglers playing on their main accounts. Yeah, lots of jungle games played within the last several days cause he's extremely popular, unlike superior jungl

That link was a mistake. Was attempting to link you to the full list of top player games with Kha'zix. http://www.probuilds.net/champions/Khazix I'll sum it up for you: Lots of wins in the jungle by different top players, not a lot of wins in the lane. And that's not your point that I accidentally backed up, it's mine. You said you feel Kha is decent at best WITH the right team co
