Dont track Karma, just track how many times a user has disconnected before the game ended. Allow a threshold at game start and then start counting from there onwards. Dawn of War 2 does this where you can see how often someone has disconnected from a game.
askmen.com just sounds...male prony
Well if they are in fact limiting Panthenon to 2v2 - which it looks possible although there ARE games out there with more players, they should in turn limit them to being on 2v2/3v3 sized maps. 2v2 on a 5v5 map is ridiculous thanks.
Check this: http://www.demigodthegame.com/opengames.aspx Is this the fix for panthenon? It's like 90% of them are 4 players only. Played in one last myself and a 2v2 on a 5v5 map is unfun thx.
Well Frog at some stage if you choose to discontinue game development, i think this thread has shown you could perhaps move into Diplomacy next

Game is very enjoyable - much better now the connection issues are largely fixed. Get an almost nightly australian 4v4 happening and it plays so much more intense(and faster) than a 3v3. There's so much more spike damage that it' ups the overall skill level. I wish we could play 5v5s but so far we just dont seem to be able to. I also play dawn of war 2 on the side which keeps things fresh

A tax on pooling - i like that idea.
You so need to ask IGN and Gamespot for a re-review - at least for perhaps a followup article seeing both of their reviews were heavily downgraded due to the connection issues which are largely resolved (imo)
I dont know, I somewhat disagree with it making upgrades easier. Why is that neccessarily a bad thing? People are inheritantly selfish and it is often left on the backs of 1 or 2 individuals to basically carry the team in regards to citadel upgrades, even when you ask them. I tested this theory the other day and late game as we were getting pushed into our base couldnt believe no-one had shelled out a penny beyond the one tower health upgrade. That's it, nada. We had enemy catap
I'd really like to be able to see the citadel upgrade screen from anywhere on the map, just so I can see what allies may have bought while I was away from the citadel. It'd be really strategically valuable to know on the fly what upgrades your team has at certain moments.
quoting post Smart Quitting. If someone exits within the first 3 minutes, there’s no harm, no foul. It counts as a disconnect but not a loss. Sometimes there’s lag or someone has a slow machine or whatever. I can already see this being abused.
This needs to be 1 minute maximum, to allow people to bail out of things like panthenon when it's 1v1 on a 5 player
I'd really like to see: 1. Ability to pool money for citadel upgrades (aka http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350937 ) 2. Replay functionality - this is a MUST for RTS games. 3. Ability to temporarily draw on the mini-map or tactical ping it (aka http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350468 ) Beyond that i'd love to see:</

Until you get in game and half of everyone drops because one guy quits/gets disconnected/whatever. I've had this happen 3-4 times to me today, someone dies, quits game, three people who connect to him get dropped. <br /

It was actually down for a period last night. It's usually fine - with the new patch even been getting regular aussie 4v4 games which owns
I got a 5v5 once in pantheon and multiple times in skirmish. But there were never more than 2 human players, one on each team with all of our allies being AI. Usually the person who wins is the one who can kill his enemy's AI the most.
A 5v5 with ai doesnt count. The importance of 5v5's is fluking your way through lobby hell and getting everyone actually into the game.
