You need two images one for the background and the second one for the slider or fader slide button. Make a new object add DXplayer, Then configure, Next decide which one you want slider or fader, use your two images, You can use default states or you can use a graphic button for Volume disable and volume enable but it is not necessary if you use default mouse away. Thanks Jingles and aufisch I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times the only way I can have desktopx work is to use version 2.21 even then I still have some problems such as not able to make color changes to objects and I can't skin the sys try or task. And as of today I still haven't heard anything from stardock.

I started having the same problem after updating to version 2.30.032, Also if I try to skin the system and task tray, Where the icons should be is a square hole. I sent in a report to stardock 2 weeks ago but have not received an answer yet. When and if I hear from them I will post their reply. To fix my problem I uninstalled version 2.30.032 and reinstalled version 2.21

Can no longer apply changes after downloading newest version DesktopX in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

After updating to DesktopX version 2.30.032 I can no longer apply any changes to any object with a script. Example : Expanding dock by martin, When I try to apply a change of any kind to the dock, Desktopx shuts down. I have all ready downloaded the script fix, It did not correct the problem. I am running xp pro sp1. also I can not make any hue changes to an object now. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Brad I think your tutorial movies are a great idea would like to see more of them, Even some on The DXplayer. How ever it might help to plan in advance what you wish to demonstrate. I know you know what you are doing, but for the rest of us who haven't your experience It is hard to follow when you jump from tab to tab. A little more explaining as you go along would also help. If you are trying to hide explorer taskbar, You need to right click desktop click on (desktopx) then (configure desktopx) that will bring up desktopx settings on first page check (hide explorer taskbar )If that's not what you want You will have to explain what you want with more detail

Martin Great Idea. I use a program to design kitchen cabinets, I have a basic cabinet library I can draw from if I need a different size cabinet I have an interface that allows me to change the size and shape of said cabinet. I think this is more or less what you are talking about.
