Now all Microsoft has to do is figure out how to get the pirates to download the 'update' so their illegal copy can be disabled... yeah, that sounds workable ... Well if Microsoft can send out updates to a computer even with Automatic Updates turned off, Then sending out a command to shut down a pirated copy of windows shouldn't be a problem for them. <a href="http://www.microsoft-watch.com/content/operating_systems/windows_updates_perception_
And for all of the people bitching about Vista costing $400, just STOP. A normal version that everyone can use will only cost you $100 - $150. What do you consider a "normal" version of Vista? Are you referring to the Home Basic? I can't see why any one would want or should want to pay any amount of money for an OS that Isn't any better then XP Pro. There isn't any thing in Vista that The Average user needs. And there are far more average use
SATAII is backward compatible with SATA. However some mainboard and host controllers chips will not support SATA II drives, If this is the case as in the Maxtor drives you will need to use the force 150 jumper. The best thing to do is read the documentation that comes with your drive. The cable should come with the Drive (both use the same cable) The 4- pin to 15- pin power adapter should also come with your drive. Again check to see if your drive comes with them. I am assuming your
You should be very happy with what you have selected. BUT lol there is always a but. This motherboard does not support ATI Crossfire so if you are thinking of being able to use dual cards later on you will need to select a different Motherboard. Check this out WWW Link If you don't plan on using crossfire what you have selected will work fine.
Ok I have a question about this AMD Athlon 64 stuff...I run 32bit XP and whenever I go Vista, I'll likely stick with 32bit. What does the 64 mean, that it's only for 64bit? This is how it was explained to me. Think of it as an information highway. With 32 bit you have 32 lanes that information can travel on and 64 lanes with 64 bit. The AMD 64 CPU's are backward compatible with 32 bit. You can run either XP,Vista 32 bit or XP,Vista 64 bit

You will also need the latest version of Star Dock Central and have (Show pre-release versions) checked to see WindowBlinds 6 Beta.
A pretty weird install...it asks if you want to uninstall WB 5, and when you click yes it does but it asks you to reboot, but continues with the install of WB 6. If you don't reboot after you uninstalled WB 5, you will have problems. Just make sure you reboot after the uninstall of WB 5. You will not have WB installed at all after that, but then you can install WB 6 and it seems to work fine. That's exactly how the install went for me. But so

Well those two pictures you said you took and now say you don't know how they got into your folder where identical to two wall papers from National Geographic. I can post the links to them if you like. By the way I do live in Florida and I know what we have here and don't have here. I have worked and played in the Keys for years. You uploaded worked that wasn't your own and even said you were there. I don't understand why you have to make a fuss about it. You should have just

You can use a zip program such as Win Zip. After you make your wall just open Win Zip or what ever zip program you have. Click on Add new or make new file and navigate to your wallpaper file and click on it. your wallpaper should now be added to your zip program. You can add a .bmp to your zip but you have to have a jpg for your screen shot..You can also add to your zip file by dragging your file from windows explorer.Hope this helps

Assuming you have general knowledge of making objects. If you would like to use this method and need help email me. You could just use the built in scroll feature of DX media. To do this make a new object. On general page under additional abilities click add. Add DXplayer. then configure dxplayer Click Default. Where it says player button click drop down window and click text display. click clip name. At bottom click on Display.Uncheck "use built in destopx text" under alignment check

BTW In DesktopX Builder I open the wallpaper option & choose my wallpaper, I get a message saying the file has been copied to my current theme, but when I hit "Apply" nothing happens...still that drab grey colour! Try clicking on OK after you click apply. I have had this same problem and usually this works for me. Also as Quentin said you need to save the theme after you make the change.
Damn. I guess that means the pics of me taken in the White Mountains of New Hampshire running buck naked in the snow are not gonna fly huh ? I don't know!! Was your squiggle covered???
