1400 x 900 is what I was using. To be clear, 1400 x 900 has blurry text. The other resolution has insanely unreadable gibberish with pixels scattered all over the screen.

After I opened up the game, the window was way bigger than my actual monitor. I'm on OSX and I'm guessing it didn't account for a retina display correctly.
