I had the same with multiplayer vs ais
Greetings In multiplayer vs Ai tried to start 3 games, in all of them pratically immediatly my leader refuse to move at all where i told him. Usually after telling him to attack one adventurer from there on for all the turns he wont move. the animation sometime is with him running on the spot, most of the time instead i just click the tile next to him and the 4movements go to 0 and nothing happens. I tried only one singleplayer game and it seems to be working fine.

I must say i'm impressed. Played a couple of games yesterday with my partner vs 4 nightmare ais on prison and for the first time we lost. (same setup in version 11 and was a complete victory for us). Just to make sure we tried vs vanilla ai and crushed them utterlesly so i must commend you for your work: finally an AI that is half decent to prepare you to online games ^^ From what i've seen the ais cover each other, tend to stick together and definetly level up and gea

Bough the pack a while ago (actully the ultimate + argos naval yard separate) and i can say its a really great game! Only bad thing i can say is that everytime i decided to buy it (ultimate edition first, argos naval yard later) a promotion started just a few days later :P LOL ^^ In any case definetly worth the money and its great fun.. i just wish i could play more multiplayer of it ^^

I know you bman since ufo:ET +1 karma for my appreciation on your work even on Demigod. I expect this simple fix to be incorporated in the next DG release within one week...(possibly with a mod manager and working replays that should have *never* been left out in the first place).

Here is my little advices to improve playing Demigod: DONT PLAY VS THE AIS!!! you'll get bad habits and in the end you'll be slaughtered online vs serious players!!! However if you really really want to here is my suggested training: Play Prison map with conquest and all normal setting and do the following schedule: a) Pick a demigod you like and want to improve and do a 1vs1 vs a normal ai b) once you win

I'd like to add since previous poster mentioned it aswell. Fall from Heaven 2 (+ eventually Fall Further) is definetly one of the most enjoyable mod ever played.. basically alone make Civ4 a completely new game (also better imho) and if there is even the slimmest chance to get kael crew on board on elemental you should really do it. Sound good Elemental will be a single-player focused game. It will have multiplayer but most of the development time will be spent on single player. Mmm not sure i really like this. Demigod is clearly a multiplayer game and single player is there just for "practice" and i'm ok with that approach, however usually single player focues game tend *not to work* well online. Imho o
World is small when you think of it slurple, i think i've read you on BP chat just yesterday! :) Just joined Beyond Protocol 2 days ago and yes i think it would be awesome to have it on Impulse... you should really look into it!
Always buffed why it wasnt stressed near enough in beta, i do agree that in a game like this having to play 2vs2 or 3vs3 or more with a party you arrange vs other teams SHOULD be there. Only reason why i think it wasnt there in the first place is that it failed completely in supreme commander/forged alliance but thats because it was a different kind of game and not nearly enough people playing 2vs2 to really make it work well
I am here from beta and it seems a lot worst than it was there (which was still abysmal) I am confident it will be fixed sometime in the future but for now its just an exercise in frustation trying to play online at all. My suggestion is give the game a try playing solo custom games and give the game another try online in the near future when connectivity will be improved.
As the title state it seems Impulse wont launch Demigod saying its already running if you have forged alliance running :) Ok you can say its pretty normal to play only 1 game at once (and you're right) but the error message throwed me off a little till i figured it out that was the problem Hope it helps
Happened to me now. I downloaded yesterday 1.7 gig and i have version .0024 of the .exe, checking from bug reports it seems there is version .0025 but impulse doesnt show it to me EDIT: after a complete system restart now it showed the update (25mb only! finally!) and it works :D
