Regulus would be way more boring if mines couldn't be used the way they are now. If anything maybe the placement spread should be wider so it's harder to hit somebody with 2-3 mines at once.
I respectfully disagree. It's certainly possible to dodge them completely or stun Regulus, either with items or with abilities (Erebus has two counters built in). Even if you widen the spread, though, that doesn't weaken them ag

Mines are supposed to be a trap, but the way he uses them makes them more of a very powerful grenade that delivers a big spike of damage.
Even the AI uses them like that more often than not. They've been used that way since beta 2, and as far as I can remember, they have n

What is annoying is making it all the way back to my health crystal only to be sniped and killed from all the way across the map. THAT needs to be nerfed.
Why? That's what Snipe is for. :)
This brings me back to beta 2 when the mine cap was 12 . . . . On one hand I can see why they reduced it, on the other hand I miss killing full health rooks with ease(set up all 12, stand in front of them, then used the teleport cloak to get behind them right before the rook was in range to hit me). Here is something to add: Demolition Time! Towers and other structures trigger mines a short time after they are pl
Wow, if you say you thought it works perfectly then we're going to have problems lol. I thought you were still in emergency mode it's so bad. -Every 15 minutes to an hour, I get disconnected from the NAT Facilitator. If this happens while I'm connecting to a game, the connection status box will disappear and I think I've failed completely and must quit, so I do. I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to do, but that's what it feels like. Sometimes this happens in the middle of the g
Hah, this is actually how I've been leveling Regulus myself. It works alright... although, I still think that Regulus works better as a sniper.
In my experiences playing alongside other good Regulus players with snipe builds, this build is about the same power. In fact the Snipe and Mine-Grenade build work well alongside each other. Snipers are great assassins, but lack versatility. Grenadiers are very versatile, but
One of the things I love about Demigod is that there are so many ways to use each Demigod, and a lot of technique to using each ability. Why do I bring this up? In this build, we are going to skip Snipe completely, or at least put it off until late-game. I know that sounds crazy, but even though it's a great finisher, and it can turn the tide of a battle going on far away, it's not a great ability if the fight is happening anywhere near you. It's a good power, and I've seen great Snipe Regulu
Blame the pirates for overloading the servers.
The problem is actually that there are 100,000s of pirates trying to play the game, and their servers were never designed for MMORPG levels of people. They estimate that 18,000 people are legit, but the pirates are shutting everything down just by sheer numbers. It's not their fault. If anything, it's Gamestop's for releasing 4 days early.
At max level they knock off half a Demigod's HP just by tossing them at their feet, and it slows them to a massive crawl. Mines are great, but you need to invest the skill points.
There are no tanks to build
And that's why it would have been funny!
Just get better at the game, really. Learn good builds, what items to use when, and BUY CITADEL UPGRADES!!! Citadel upgrades are probably the most important things you can buy.
The problem is you're not buying upgrades at your citadel. I guarantee you if you start doing that as often as possible, you will win.
Yeah, but...it's Hard mode. It's supposed to be hard.
I totally thought you were going to say "build tanks", and those of us from the GPG forum would go "LOL", and everyone else would go "WTF"...and then we would LOL at the fact that everyone else is going WTF.
Yep...I press a button and it takes 10 minutes of waiting before it responds again. My computer is really good, too. Most other games I am always the first to load. I have yet to successfully play online because the game stops responding when I hit go.
After playing a game or two with Regulus and Torchbearer, I can safely say I much preferred their old voices from earlier beta versions. Funny thing is I used to think both had horribly campy voices, but the new ones set a world record. Regulus's new voice is WAY too deep as well. It'd be more fitting for a Hercules type, but Regulus is a sniper. It's almost like seeing Tay Zonday for the first time and saying "that's his real voice!?" My beef is only with these two--the other voices

I doubt it's Regulus. He's WAY better than he used to be and everyone else seems to have been nerfed as well.</p
The devs said this build is loaded to the brim with bugs that they didn't have time to fix, so it's totally not optimized yet. I'm having no problems, though, and my system is only slightly better than yours, OP.
Usually I can't target a friendly building (none of them) from maximum zoom on Mine, but sometimes I can't target any friendly building with the teleport scroll when I die and immediately press the hotkey, no matter what zoom. I didn't try any other levels but I wanted to jot this down before I forgot.
I was using Unclean Beast when I noticed this. When powers are cooling down, the tooltips do not work and instead only display "no text" in brackets. The same thing happened with the Purple Potion when I was dead. The other items seemed to work fine and it went back to normal after I came back to life.

You will kill everything You can easily evade those stuns by the Rook. You may not stand still, that´s all
Those builds are getting nerfed in the next build. This IMO is a bad decision because currently this is the only competitive Regulus build. If Snipe and Mines were stronger, nerfing item/stat builds would make sense
It was discovered during FA beta that the direct cause of the problem is LVPrcInj.dll. People found that merely killing this process in the Task Manager would allow them to load up the game. In fact, just renaming LVPrcInj.dll to LVPrcInj.old fixed the problem completely. Unfortunately it was also discovered by googling this DLL that hundreds of other programs are affected badly by it, and it is very much Logitech's problem that GPG cannot fix without their help. This DLL, by
