Yeah, I get this on occasion. My PC excedes game recomended specs and has the latest drivers. The crash comes in three different forms- A, the game appears to have a refresh rate problem, making the screen go flickery. Can be resolved momentairly by changing video settings anyway you like, higher or lower. Why wouldn't you simply remain in mist and have your Minions detonate the mines so you could escape?

I usually don't turn into Mist until Erebus falls below 50% health, then he goes into Mist and becomes reliant on the Minions to dispatch the attacker before Erebus runs out of Mana, which, against against a single target, they almost always will. I also find it to be an excellent luring tactic, make it look like the opposition's going to kill you, have them run into danger chasing you then evaporate before they can get the killing shot off. So I've been playing a lot of Lord Erebus lately and despite most play strategies saying Mist isn't all that good, I've found it to be really useful when in conjunction with Minions. My build order goes Mist, Coven, Conversion Aura, Mist, Coven, Aura etc etc until level 11 through 13, where I get Morale.
